Why are you even posting about syria if you are so ignorant of the people involved? You would do better in the sandbox than a message board.
People have posted enough information for you have learned the distinction between the groups and what each is trying to achieve, and why.
If you don't understand these people and their causes, why do you have such blind adoration for Assad? The world is not not black and white. Certainly the people in and around syria are all hues of every possible color and though they might fall into some of the main groupings, they are not programed clones without their own individual opinions and ideas within or even crossing over several groups.
Most people both in syria and around the world are opposed to the brutal beheadings, massacres, torture, rape and other abuses that are being done in the name of islam (of any sect or school of thought). Most syrians want a more open and free syria not a dictatorship or authoritarian regime of the Assad's, al-waites or baathists. They want a government representative and meeting the needs of all the people of every religion, race or political thinking.

Yes it is. You can see evidence on Youtube. Further it is you, who belongs in a sandbox. But be careful that the sandbox is not a red-painted FSA sandbox. You children could dig out limbs and be shocked for lifetime.
