'I'd be dead without Medicare!': Trump voters are already sharing their deep regrets

As it turns out, one of the biggest fears from Trump supporters is losing their Medicare benefits. Trump has so far not publicly opposed House Speaker Paul Ryan’s plans to dismantle Medicare and turn it into a voucher system for private health insurance plans. Right-wing commentator Ann Coulter’s tweet bashing Trump’s Medicare plan brought out lots of Trumpgrets:

trumpgret1.jpg

A Republican state senator in West Virginia said she hoped the person she elected president wouldn’t kick some 200,000 impoverished West Virginians off of the state’s Medicaid rolls.

(This next one is fucking hilarious!)

Bizarrely, one woman who voted for Trump claimed she did so to close the gender pay gap. Making sure women earned equal pay to their male counterparts was a primary plank of Hillary Clinton’s campaign platform, though Twitter user Sandi Haynes either didn’t know that, or assumed Trump would do the same.

Do a search "Trump voters regret vote" and it's totally hilarious. Very funny reading.

It's funny until you consider the alternative-

The Clinton Foundation has been examined and investigated by the CIA, the FBI and repeated congressional investigations using unlimited taxpayer money and none of them could find any wrong doing. So you figure she must be guilty.

Only a single reporter looked into the Trump Foundation and found it was uncertified, never had an audit, unlicensed, that Trump hadn't put a cent of his own money into it for nearly a decade, was being used as an illegal tax shelter, paying out bribes, buying stuff for the family and paying off lawsuits, and now, it's under multiple investigations and already found guilty on at least two counts. but that was all unfair reporting.

She was the guilty one because no wrongdoing could be found. Just what you imagine.

But he's the innocent one even though we know he's broken the law again and again.

That's why he is such a good Flim-Flam man. His flim disguises his flam and the voter's bought it. Trump being elected after what he ran on is the masterpiece of a great scam artist.

Actually, pretty much your entire post is inaccurate regarding the Clinton Foundation. Typical liberal- my mind is made up, to hell with the facts. Tell ya what boi, let's see how much money The Clintonistas raise for their foundation over the next couple years when they don't have influence to trade. If they can keep banking the big bucks, then I will say good for them.

7 Things You Need To Know About The Clinton Foundation
These numbers were similar in the foundation's 2013 tax returns, which revealed that the Clinton Foundation raised over $140 million but only used $9 million in direct aid, according to the New York Post:
On its 2013 tax forms, the most recent available, the foundation claimed it spent $30 million on payroll and employee benefits; $8.7 million in rent and office expenses; $9.2 million on “conferences, conventions and meetings”; $8 million on fundraising; and nearly $8.5 million on travel. None of the Clintons is on the payroll, but they do enjoy first-class flights paid for by the foundation.

In all, the group reported $84.6 million in “functional expenses” on its 2013 tax return and had more than $64 million left over — money the organization has said represents pledges rather than actual cash on hand.
OMG.
This is where your article got their "facts":

Bill, Hillary & Chelsea Clinton Foundation - Discover the Networks

A right wing smear site.

You know, if the right wing spent a tiny bit of their time actually investigating their own policies and party, you might have a pretty clean organization.

PolitiFact Sheet: Comparing the Clinton & Trump foundations

The Clinton Foundation has 500 employees with none of them being stiffed and only a little more than a quarter of their funding is spent on it's employees and operating fees.

The Trump Foundation has zero employees and half it's money is spent on operating expenses. I guess if you are giving fundraisers at Trump Hotels and resorts, that happens.

Holy cow boi, you want to compare the Clinton crime foundation with its hundreds of millions to the trump foundation loose change Lent Box. That's like comparing someone stealing bubble gum to a bank robber. Your own link shows the difference in magnitude.

How big is the foundation?

Clinton Foundation:

— $354 million in assets (2014)

— $91 million in expenses (2014)

— Nearly 500 staff members

Trump Foundation

— $1.2 million in assets (2014)
— $596,700 in expenses

Clinton Crime Foundation spent more on travel than charitable grants in 2014.... of course that is just according to th tax filings, so maybe they lied on those. Best thing you can do at this point is back away very quickly, your position is a loser.

Here's the tax return showing $172 mil in donations and over $90 mil in exspense for 2014. Go ahead, defend that shit-

http://www.guidestar.org/FinDocuments/2014/311/580/2014-311580204-0c3ee98d-9.pdf

You see all those 6 digit salaries, there are about 10people who are part of the 5 percenters because of their pay from this crime organizations. The top 2 salaries in the Clinton Foundation are more than ALL THE EXPENSES in the Trump Foundation.

Now Stop it fool!

Since I do not live in the United States this is about all I can do too. I am bound to say (and without any pleasure in doing so) that the American people, especially the poor, have no-one to blame but themselves for electing a corporate phony conman to be president. The Republican tax breaks for corporations and the vouchers to drum up business for insurance corporations instead of continuing with Medicare will bring hardship to poor pensioners.
Don't worry. They'll figure out some way to blame it on Democrats. They always do.
Many Republicans believe it was Democrats who took us into Iraq, who crashed the economy. Even a sizable number who believe the disastrous way the aftermath of Katrina was handled was Obama's fault years before he became president.
The appalling ignorance of the American working class about the operations of its own government is largely due to the commercial media which is in the hands of the management class.

Except several states have banned the Trump Foundation for Fraud, and the Clinton Foundation, not so much.

But, yeah, just like Hillary got more votes, she also ran a more successful foundation. ONe people would actually want to donate to because it does good work.

Don't know bout you I'm surprised there was no meltdown when douchebag took billions out of Medicare to prop up that POS the ACA.

Of course none of you lefty loons want to mention that little factoid.

The FBI is investigating that foundation. You may have to swallow your words. Or not. LOL

Medicare has been front and center in the media and on the campaign trails this week. As part of our Medicare Truth Squad efforts to debunk myths and claims about the Medicare program, today we focus our attention on a pervasive myth that keeps going around.

Some policymakers, candidates, and members of the media have been touting the claim that the Affordable Care Act (ACA) cuts $700 billion from Medicare. You may have even started receiving robo-calls that repeat this point. These claims are simply untrue.

What the ACA Really Does for Medicare

The Affordable Care Act achieves savings in the Medicare program through a series of payment reforms, service delivery innovations, and increased efforts to reduce fraud, waste, and abuse. The actual projected reduction in Medicare spending is largely a result of reducing overpayments to private Medicare plans that have been paid more than traditional Medicare but do not perform any better. In fact, according the GAO, saving on wasteful overpayments now means there will more future funds for legitimate coverage.[1]

Besides reducing fraud and saving taxpayer dollars on excessive overpayments to private insurance companies, the Affordable Care Act has already made, and will continue to make, improvements to Medicare.[2] In fact, people with Medicare are already seeing real savings – an average of over $800 per person on their drug costs this year alone.

The bottom line: ACA preserves every cent of Medicare's guaranteed benefits AND makes improvements to the program.

Ryan Budget Slashes Benefits

A prominent plan touted as the alternative to the Affordable Care Act is the budget proposal put forward by Congressman and Vice-Presidential candidate Paul Ryan. However, Mr. Ryan's budget proposal for the past two years has included the same $700 billion reduction in Medicare spending as in the ACA.[3] The Ryan plan, however, ends Medicare's guaranteed benefit design and turns the community program into a system of vouchers, leaving millions of beneficiaries in the hands of private insurance companies, with no guarantee of the coverage they need. The Ryan plan does NOT save money for people with Medicare, it doesn't save the Medicare program, and it does not help solve the nation's deficit.[4]

When you hear the $700 billion myth, push back with facts.

Just more proof that Trump supporters are the absolute dumbest among us!

Some must be if they're believing the bullshit propaganda you regressives have been throwing around since you got your asses kicked.

I'm just wondering what the hell they think Trump will do to Medicare and why he would do anything to it.

What will these morons think of next??

At this point no one has a clue, it's all regressive fear mongering.

They're not going to, it's not even in Ryan's plan to do so.

Just the standard partisan contrived hysteria here.

Or a realization is you stop the camel before he gets his nose into the tent.

Hey, remember in 2005, when Bush (after he fooled all the bubba rednecks into thinking he'd stop gay marriage from happening) tried to privatize social security. Well, thankfully, people screamed loudly about that and puta stop to it. Which means Granny wasn't wiped out when 2008 happened.

Same thing here.

Mostly old fuckers who are funded by my tax dollars. Fuck them, they should have planned better just like it says to on the social security web site. Hopefully most of them are dead now.

REPEAL NIGHTMARE: HOSPITALS WARN AGAINST NUKING OBAMACARE

Don't know bout you I'm surprised there was no meltdown when douchebag took billions out of Medicare to prop up that POS the ACA.

Of course none of you lefty loons want to mention that little factoid.

You mean the part where he extended the solvency of Medicare by decades? Yeah, we do remember that part.

Nah. I mean the part where they took the money people put into that system and used it to fund the ACA. That money was put in by every working American to pay for THEIR healthcare, not the freeloaders on the ACA.

Obamacare Robs Medicare of $716 Billion to Fund Itself

It's in his original plan not to "privatize Medicare".

Since (as we know) you don't know how the Medicare/Medicare Advantage/Medicare Supplement system works, you wouldn't understand.

Both the right wing and the left wing just LOVE their imagined, hysterical conspiracy theories, don't you?

The behaviors are so damn similar.

You got yours, fuck everybody else.

Good stuff there.

I wonder how you would feel after spending a few hours in a shit hole apartment with an ailing elderly woman who has nothing through no fault of her own. I've done quite a bit of that. Volunteer for a non-profit that serves seniors, change a few beds, hold a few hands, and see how that goes for you.

An effective, efficient, comprehensive health care system is good economics as well as being the sign of a more advanced, decent civilization. This isn't the Old West.

They asked for Trump and they got him. Now they need to face the consequences for voting for a man who doesnt give a flying fig about them or their health.
