How do you think this ruling will impact the private exchanges?
Are those generally individual policies that employers are contributing to?
This ruling says they cannot even do that on an after-tax basis.

Under a central provision of the health care law, larger employers are required to offer health coverage to full-time workers, or else the employers may be subject to penalties.

Many employers — some that now offer coverage and some that do not — had concluded (read "made it up") that it would be cheaper to provide each employee with a lump sum of money to buy insurance on an exchange, instead of providing coverage directly.

So, how did Obama break the law? Because employers were trying to weasel out of providing coverage? It was never the case that employers could do this - it was a stunt designed to not have to provide coverage.

Take that with a grain of salt. Obama is not going to re-write law. He is going to delay enforcing enacted law until the political repercussions are acceptably small.

IMO, as an employer, employers should provide healthcare for their employees that make them all of their money, after all, employer paid healthcare costs are subsidized.

ACA is a health program, not an insurance program.

There are no longer any health insurance death panels with ACA and certainly none in ACA.

The only "death panel" that Bachmann discovered was her own political demise when she began screaming in 2010 about "death panels." It took only two elections for the folks back home to tell bye bye to Michelle.

Really...lot of those employers were forced to dump their employees because they offered what Obama termed bad insurance...... which he then turned around and said was ok after it was cancelled never to be seen again

ACA mandates non-exclusion for preexisting conditions and no caps for claims. And there you have it.

Not even close.
Let us not forget that the majority of people in the Obamacare system will be under Medicare. Now, do you really think that the federal government is going to offer free first dollar unlimited medical care to anyone? Let alone those with pre existing conditions which adversely affect their health?
ACA is 2500 pages of contradictions and double speak. It is unsustainable. And that is by design.
ACA is set up for failure. The hope is that ACA fails and fails at a point in time where democrats sympathetic to Obama's agenda are still in the majority in Washington. The next step is obvious. To start drafting Single Payer legislation.
Thank goodness the GOP has the House. And this November may very well win back the majority in the Senate. That will put a stop to this ACA madness.

Bullshit, they are.
Yiou seem to forget something. Things such as health insurance, investment accounts, paid time off, paid holidays and sick days are not entitlements. These are fringe benefits.
Fewer and fewer employees are offering them anymore. Not because they don't want to. Because they cannot afford them.
Now all leave is known as "paid time off". To be used only when needed. Essentially these are 'vacation days'.
At many employers federal holidays are no longer paid days off. The employees are told that if they want to be paid, they must use a PTO day. As long as the business is "open" that day, of course.
Many businesses are now electing to pay their employees a stipend whether before or after taxes and letting them then choose their own health plans in the private market.
This is completely legal under ACA as long as the employer pays the payroll taxes on the wages. And THAT is how they will get around this ridiculous trap set by the IRS.
Or, they will start cutting hours. Or, start hiring contract workers and temps.
As hard as government continues to push their agenda, business owners will do what they must to survive in spite of the anti business onslaught from Washington.

The federal government is subsidizing these insurance companies that suffer financial losses due to participation in the exchanges. In other words, we the taxpayers are footing the bill.
