I Noticed White And Black Qb's Are Evaluated Differently

Name one. Wilson is a good QB with a good offensive line and uses a good running game to mix up the plays and then when it all breaks down he has the legs of Tarkington to make the play work. Without a good offensive line or a good running game, he would be in real trouble. They surrounded him with the right people.

The Redskins, for one, think that RG3 should be doing it all without an O-line. And Cam's O-line is atrocious.

How many games has Griffin played in the last two seasons? He isn't getting hammered because his offensive line is good, even Cousins can't ward of the defensive alone.

And Cam is hurt again, no offensive line to protect. Cam is a beast, I think people expect him to run down the defense by himself.

But, Romo "stinks"

Not last season or this season

When a team is only 8-8 for how many seasons....sorry but someone stinks.

We will see when Dallas goes to Seattle this week and see if Romo stinks or not.

If the Cowboys lose and it was close, I will accept that. But if it;s a 30-0 type score then I will be pissed. There is no way they can turn the ball over against the seahawks

Oh contrare...

There are many ways the Cowboys can and will turn the ball over to the Seahawks...especially in the CLink.

Just ask Aaron Rodgers, Peyton Manning, Drew Brees and Colin Kaepernick.

The only way that the Hawks can lose is if Wilson has a rare bad outting. It happens. I doubt we will see the number of stupid penalties we witnessed in DC.

The Seahawks would be undefeated if Harvin hadn't fumbled a kickoff return which gave SD a very short field in Seattle's only loss.
That and the heat where SD played on the 118 deg field in their sun reflective whites and the Hawks were forced to play in their dark energy absorbing dark blues. Many of the Hawks better players on defense had to go into the locker room for IVs. It was a very difficult game for Seattle just based on the conditions. Still even though Seattle's offense had the ball just over 25% of the time they stayed in the game and without Harvin's fumble and with the efficiency the Hawks displayed when they did have the ball it would have likely been a 14 point swing and likely a W for the Hawks.

In reality all the mistakes the Hawks displayed in DC will turn out to be a blessing and a good tuneup after the BYE. No harm since we got out of Washington with a win.

Wilson as we saw on Monday night is just continuing to improve and can put the Seahawks on his back when needed. Unlike Romo Russell makes very few errors. One interception in four games against some of the best teams shows Wilson is one of the most dependable QBs in the NFL. It is an interesting contention that black and white QBs are evaluated differently but I believe Russell Wilson is immune to that theory.

Seattle didn't complain about things like heat, field conditions, crowd noise or humidity did they?

Well, I guess there is a way to say "man, we weren't ready for that damn heat." vs "it wasn't fair, the heat was on their side and won them the game!"

When a white QB struggles it's because........."Offensive Line"

When a black QB struggles it's because he "Stinks"

Wonder why that is?

I thought it was Tim Tebow and not the Offensive line. Pretty sure everybody else feels that way too.

But the Real question you should be asking is ....... why are all the field goal kickers and punters in the NFL white?

Has anybody ever asked that?

No body said Jeff Garcia sucked? Marc Wilson of the Raiders?

Oh wait JaMarcus Russell ....... but he really did suck, Line or no line, he would get knocked down in a pillow fight. No balance or ability to scramble

Kyle Boller, another white first round draft pick who got bounced around because he sucked

Tim Couch and Ryan Leaf..... both seriously sucked. I think if your wondering why still..... your just not asking the right people. There have been a lot of white players who have been called out for just being lousy.

Are you talking about Geno Smith, EJ Manuel, and Colin Kapaernick? Because they just stink.

There's been plenty of talk about how horrendous Cam Newton's and RG3's O-lines are. But RG3 might just stink too.

I do believe that according to the racialist terms established in the op, Kapaernick can only half stink.

The other half of his performance problems would have to be due to his offensive line.

No need. For the same reason that soccor sucks. If kicking a ball straight were easy for all but a handfull of athletes soccor scores would be in the 50 plus range. It's not like there isn't a huge pool of candidates. I'm sure that if a black athlete was good at it he(or she) would get the job. Owners and GMs like to win.

You are at least half right.

Just curious though, there must have been, but I dont remember ever seeing even a Black guy as a punter in the NFL .

I can't remember his name but I believe there was a black punter briefly.
