I just wonder...I really wonder...was there really nothing or little the driver could have done?
I don't know if I would have been able to avoid the girl - but it's stories like this which tell me we are NOT as good of drivers as we claim. Notice the large two-way turn lane? That could have been a place to where the driver could have swerved. I dunno...sad story. Still...we ALL need to evaluate our panic-driving skills.
