The only real fallout from the hurricanes is that many people will be too busy rebuilding to get out & vote.

They may also be too busy to pay much attention to the elections or do much campaign work.

I don't know if this will affect the rural or urban areas more, but that'll be the main effect of the hurricanes.

My family did. Stocked up on supplies, plenty of gas for their generators. My grandmother still died. How much did the hospitals lack of supplies and electricity contribute? It’s not something I’ve thought appropriate to ask my relatives there about yet.
