That is how many trees it would take to be equal to one zettabyte of information printed at one 8.5" X 11" sheet of paper and 3,000 characters/bytes per page.
So when we hear about global warming due to declining CO2 sequestration due to diminishing landscape capture, maybe we should look differently at CO2 emissions...
i.e. with fewer and fewer trees being used to "store" information..i.e. newspapers for example..., that leaves more and more trees to capture CO2.
With the average acre of trees capturing 1.1 tons of CO2 annually there should be fewer newspapers consuming valuable CO2 sequestration trees!
