1. Not too long ago, this headline caused quite the ripple:
"PolitiFact 'Lie of the Year': 'If you like your healthcare plan you can keep it'
PolitiFact 'Lie of the Year': 'If you like your healthcare plan you can keep it' - POLITICO.com

2. Certainly shocked those who had actually believed this lie:
"Barack Obama promised to run the most transparent White House in history—disclosing donations, shunning lobbyists, and broadcasting important meetings on C-SPAN."
Barack Obama has promised the most transparent administration ever. Is that a good thing?

3. Today:
"The [Obama] administration has argued it is tougher on illegal immigration than previous presidents, and immigrant-rights groups have excoriated President Obama, calling him the “deporter-in-chief” for having kicked out nearly 2 million immigrants during his five-year tenure.

Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson acknowledged Tuesday that his department’s deportation numbers are now mostly made up of illegal immigrants caught at the border, .... which means they can’t be compared one-to-one with deportations under President Bush or other prior administrations.

...a one-to-one comparison with the final years of the Bush administration, deportations of those same people under Mr. Obama had actually fallen, ....
Deportations come mostly from border, DHS chief says - Washington Times

4. And, remember this?

"In the home stretch of the 2012 presidential campaign, from August to September, the unemployment rate fell sharply — raising eyebrows from Wall Street to Washington.
...— from 8.1 percent in August to 7.8 percent in September — might not have been all it seemed.

The numbers, according to a reliable source, were manipulated..... the Census Bureau, which does the unemployment survey, knew it.

....Census employee caught faking the results ....was told to make up information by higher-ups at Census."

5. Now that it is clear what thug tactics this administration uses.....a more careful look at how the 2012 election was stolen.
Obama had the IRS union stop the efforts of Tea Party and other conservative groups from proceeding.

"March 31, 2010.
According to the White House Visitors Log, provided here in searchable form by U.S. News and World Report, the president of the anti-Tea Party National Treasury Employees Union, Colleen Kelley, visited the White House at 12:30pm that Wednesday noon time of March 31st.

The very next day after her White House meeting with the President, according to the Treasury Department’s Inspector General’s Report, IRS employees -- the same employees who belong to the NTEU -- set to work in earnest targeting the Tea Party and conservative groups around America."

Just another day in Obama's America.

For the most part, professional politicians are liars and narcissists.

So all we can do is create and enforce a system that mitigates their behavior and minimizes the damage they cause, as much as possible.

The current system does not come close to doing that, and here we are.

Really?

What if they simply take the fifth?

The case began in 1981 when the RNC created a “national ballot security task force” that, among other things, undertook mailing campaigns targeted at black and Latino neighborhoods in New Jersey. If mailers were returned undelivered, party activists put those voters on a list to be challenged if they showed up to cast a ballot. In addition, the party was alleged to have hired off-duty law enforcement officers to “patrol” minority neighborhoods on election day.

The DNC sued the RNC in federal court, alleging its activities violated the Voting Rights Act and were intended to suppress voting among minorities. Rather than fight the charges in a trial, the RNC agreed to a consent decree promising to “refrain from undertaking any ballot security activities … directed toward [election] districts that have a substantial proportion of racial or ethnic minority populations.”

The consent decree has remained in effect, and DNC lawyers say they have gone to court in states such as Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana and Pennsylvania to challenge Republican activities that appear to target mostly black precincts. Both sides agree, however, that the consent decree does not forbid “normal poll watching” by Republican officials.

The RNC has tried repeatedly to have the consent decree lifted, contending it interferes with its efforts to combat voter fraud. But a federal judge in New Jersey in 2009 ruled that it should remain in effect, and the U.S. Court of Appeals agreed last year.

Your party is the one who cheats

why did the SCOTUS not save your party if the cheating isn't REAL???????

You have just denied the entire court system of the USA.

Your a traitor to this country and democracy

Thank you for your recitation.
You have a point there. But, if you part your hair right no one will notice.

You probably didn't notice that all the 'lies" and cheating at issue are from the Obama administration.

Did you know that they are Liberals/Progressives/DeathPanelDemocrats?

Really.

editorials are not court documented proof of cheating.

your party has a mountainous record of cheating in elections right from the very top

because the republican party refuses to actually honor democracy

Oh, you mean like in Florida? Man, that's right. Remember the Republicans sending a letter to every county election commission in the State of Florida on how to disallow largely military write in votes on technicalities? Wait, that was Al Gore who did that.

What about suing to toss out 30K votes on technicalities in two Republican counties? Wait, that was Al Gore also.

Well, remember how in only four counties both of which were Democrat dominated election commissions and they kept counting and recounting votes and every disputed vote went the Democrats way with the votes on party lines? Wait, that was the Democrats too.

Yeah, Democrats want every vote to count my ass. Democrats cheat their asses off. We not only should be checking IDs but anyone trying to vote fraudulently should have their asses hauled off to jail.

James Lee's testimony[edit]

On 17 April 2001, James Lee testified, before the McKinney panel, that the state had given DBT the directive to add to the purge list people who matched at least 90% of a last name. DBT objected, knowing that this would produce a huge number of false positives (non-felons).[4]

Lee went on saying that the state then ordered DBT to shift to an even lower threshold of 80% match, allowing also names to be reversed (thus a person named Thomas Clarence could be taken to be the same as Clarence Thomas). Besides this, middle initials were skipped, Jr. and Sr. suffixes dropped, and some nicknames and aliases were added to puff up the list.

"DBT told state officials", testified Lee, "that the rules for creating the [purge] list would mean a significant number of people who were not deceased, not registered in more than one county, or not a felon, would be included on the list. DBT made suggestions to reduce the numbers of eligible voters included on the list". According to Lee, to this suggestion the state told the company, "Forget about it".

"The people who worked on this (for DBT) are very adamant... they told them what would happen", said Lee. "The state expected the county supervisors to be the failsafe." Lee said his company will never again get involved in cleansing voting rolls. "We are not confident any of the methods used today can guarantee legal voters will not be wrongfully denied the right to vote", Lee told a group of Atlanta-area black lawmakers in March 2001.[7]

If Republicans are putting that much effort into it, it's sad that they cheat so much more poorly than the Democrats do.
