Perfect timing...I was just watching the news and they were reporting how LAUSD just banned chocholte milk. In some states you can not send a lunch to school with you child. You must buy a lunch from the school. If you can not afford the $9 per day you get it free. etc.

Not sure what the OP was referrring to, but I am agianst helmet laws and seat belt laws. etc

The courts have ruled crosses must come down in many cases. Christmas has been taken out of schools etc

Little Village Academy on Chicago's West Side, students are not allowed to pack lunches from home. Unless they have a medical excuse, they must eat the food served in the cafeteria.

The national school lunch/breakfast programs are governed by federal (U.S. Department of Agriculture) and state (Department of Education) regulations, as well as policies that the local board of education deems necessary.

So? It's still not a federal requirement that a student MUST eat cafeteria food.

I live in NY. No one has told me anything. And IF anything I have to listen to whacked out nut jobs preach the gospel of jeebus on almost a daily basis. My new neighborhood has no less then 3 Christian places of Worship and 2 Muslim ones. One thing I like about the Muslims is they aren't barking sermons on the Subway or marching through the streets yowling about end time.

The Government has been over-stepping and over-reaching for many years. Our Government is now doing all the things we kicked the British Monarchy out for doing. We are now living in Pre-Revolution-like times. We're actually going backwards in this country. The Government is seizing more power & control by the day. And the saddest aspect of this is that so many Americans just sit back and allow it to happen. Both the Socialists/Progressives and Neocons just love Big Government and want it to get even bigger. We need more true Conservatives to stand up and end this rapid rush to absolute Government Power & Control. True Conservatives are this nation's only hope.

There a very few real Liberals left. Most Democrats have become Socialists/Progressives. There is a difference. Less Government is a Conservative belief.
