Governor Walker signaled he was looking for a "confrontation" when he arbitrarily refused to recognize the teachers' union(s) - now the Republicans are getting all self-righteous that the Democrats aren't playing by the rules!
Walker may not like the reachers' union, but their legitimacy to represent and bargain for Wisconsin's public school teachers is a well established fact!
The Governor has no legal basis on which to recognize the legitimacy of the police and the firefighters unions to represent their members - but to exclude the teachers
When you come out playing Republican "hardball," why wouldn't you expect Democratic "hardball" in return?
