Your country has its own problems with homelessness and inadequate housing, and it is expected to get worse. Just solving the problems related to the elderly and disabled seems to be beyond your country's willingness to address them.

American homelessness is pretty bad as well.

Wow, what a brilliant idea! Sell your house, give away your goods, go out on the street, and have some big dumb fat socialist fuck give you a free house to live in! And who pays for it? Looks like Finland's healthcare problem is putting a huge financial burden on the country and those that pay the taxes. As the population ages more and more pressure is being put on the health care. In March the government resigned because of the healthcare failure.
Also a massive failure was their "basic income" model did not reduce unemployment like they thought it would. Poor job prospects have the young smart professionals moving from Finland to larger European cities and Dubai where the weather is warmer.

Seems like giving the homeless homes will be easy.
