So....in this case, background checks did not work, waiting periods did not work, gun registration would not work, magazine limits would not work......
Universal background checks would not have stopped this sale......
this felon who was not allowed to buy, own, or carry a gun was captured by police after he murdered a bunch of people.......when he was asked..."Hey...where did you get these illegal guns.....?"
He told them, they then arrested the seller......

When speaking to Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office investigators on Nov. 6, 2016, Kohlhepp mentioned Lawson by name and told police Lawson had bought the guns for him. Once he had the firearms is his possession, the killer told investigators he “modified the hell out of them,” using instructions he found on the internet.
