READ CARFULLY the Bailout was not mentioned in my post.....GWB's Administration did approve their bailout, but the text in the post was referring to the following, which GWB had nothing to do with......
If George W. Bush had reduced your retirement plan's holdings of GM stock by 90% and given the unions a majority stake in GM, would you have approved?
If George W. Bush had ordered the firing of the CEO of a major corporation, even though he had no constitutional authority to do so, would you have approved?
GWB did not turn the company over to the UAW nor did he fire Wagoner, read the article from March of 2009, I know this strikes a sore spot with you because it is the truth, BTW I did not agree with bailing them out in the first place.....but I sure as hell did not AGREE WITH GIVING CONTROLLING INTEREST TO THE UAW OR FIRING WAGONER, LAST TIME I CHECKED WE LIVE IN AMERICA, YOU KNOW LAND OF THE FREE, HOME OF THE BRAVE, THIS IS NOT THE SOCIALIST STATES OF AMERICA YOU AND OBAMA WOULD LIKE IT TO BE, LAST NIGHT WAS ANOTHER CLEAR INDICATION IT WILL NEVER BE......
