What about the Book of Mormon? Did Joe Smith ever speak about the color of Jesus' skin?
I wonder because for ages the Mormon Church would have prevented Jesus from entering their Temples.
Hell, Jesus turned water into wine.
That alone would have fucked him with the Mormons.
It wasn't alcoholic, learn history dumb shit.
Since the Romans and the early evangelists weren't that big into skin color, it is really hard to tell.
All we can figure is that since he had an outdoor occupation for most of his life, he was probability pretty tanned, and maybe even pretty buff. He is refered to as a Nazerine, so he probably looked like
Even today in the Lebanon/Syria area, most folks look pretty pale. Hard to know.
Israelis do come in many colors.
So pick the one you like
I was influenced by the Orthodox church teachings.

Those don't look like Sephardic Jews who stayed behind on the wiki/Iberian_Peninsula or like the Semitic people of the area, or even the Greeks of that time.Since the Romans and the early evangelists weren't that big into skin color, it is really hard to tell.

Suetonius mentions Christians as being a general nuscence by the time of Nero. So in 25 years they went from 1 guy and 12 buds to a movement that was causing major grief in the capital. Pretty good speed for a movement in the 1st century.
They didn't have the internet back then, of course.
Yeah, the non believers have a monopoly on moral behavior alright.
Loon.

Yeah, Jesus recruited his day's versions of the wife beaters, dead beat dads, cheating spouses, illegals, homos, prostitutes,, murderers, thieves, leftists, commies, socialists---they all reformed and tithed---sort of like the born agains today----reformed wife beaters, dead beat dads, cheating spouses, illegals, homos, prostitutes,, murderers, thieves, leftists, commies, socialists.
Just say you believe and all is forgiven.
I remember reading something by an early church father, or a monk who described Jesus as very dark skinned.
By today's standards how black would Jesus be? Blacker than Obama?
seriously.
Profiling at an airport: would Jesus fit the description of a suspected terrorist?
The race of Jesus has been a subject of debate since at least the nineteenth century. The physical appearance of Jesus of Nazareth was debated by theologians from early on in the history of Christianity, though with no explicit emphasis on race.
Different societies have depicted Jesus and most other biblical figures as their own ethnicity in their art; for example he is primarily white in the West. The current dominant opinion among historians and scientists is that he was most likely a Galilean Jew and thus would have features which resemble modern-day persons of Middle Eastern or Semitic descent.
