A surprise to everyone.

1.For half a century the Democrat Party has worked assiduously to corrupt the immigration policies of the nation. For most of our existence, the majority of immigrants have come from the very same nations, or at least continents, as those who settled the country.
That was then.....

2.Democrat commissars saw the trend in those voters being less inclined to vote for the radicalism that was taking over universities from mid-19th century, even while huge numbers of immigrants were coming from Europe.....numbers of whom were radicals. At first, the government restricted immigration practically to zero….between 1924 until 1965, to allow for assimilation:

Earlier American presidents, Republicans and Democrats alike, agreed on two basic goals: teach the newcomers English and make them Americans. The clear aim was to strengthen our national identity--to reinforce the unum in e pluribus unum--by assimilating the new arrivals into American civilization.
http://www.aei.org/article/society-and-culture/anti-americanization/

3. The Democrats realized that the more needy and uneducated the immigrant, the more they needed and would vote for the party. Voila:
Democrats knew what they were doing when they passed the 1965 immigration law that altered the flow from European immigrants to the flood from third world nations.

" Prior to 1965, the demographics of immigration stood as mostly Europeans; 68 percent of legal immigrants in the 1950s came from Europe and Canada.
The proponents of the [Democrat] Hart–Celler Act argued that it would not significantly influence United States culture. [Democrat] President Johnson called the bill "not a revolutionary bill. It does not affect the lives of millions."[16] [Democrat] Secretary of State Dean Rusk and other politicians, including [Democrat] Senator Ted Kennedy, asserted that the bill would not affect US demographic mix.[17] However, the ethnic composition of immigrants changed following the passage of the law.[18][19] Specifically, the [Democrat] Hart–Celler Act allowed increased numbers of people to migrate to the United States from Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Southern and Eastern Europe." Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965 - Wikipedia

4. Democrats were all for the Hart Cellers Act.....lying all the while.
" Despite [Democrat] Robert Kennedy's promise that, "Immigration from any single country would be limited to 10 percent of the total," Mexico sent 20 percent of last year's immigrants. Hispanics have made up nearly half of all immigrants since 1968.

This does not count the 50 to 80 million illegals invited in by the Democrats!

5. But......

There is an old saying Man Plans, and God Laughs.”

Every thing dealing with immigration was based on those Hispanics voting Democrat.

Guess what. Here's a hint:

Tell me not, in mournful numbers,
Life is but an empty dream!
For the soul is dead that slumbers,
And things are not what they seem.
Longfellow

6. Some “ifs” from JN Welch:

“2020 Presidential Vote Breakdown

1.Brown (Latino): 66% for Biden, 32% for Trump

2.Brown (Pacific Rim Asian): 63% for Biden, 31% for Trump

3.Brown (Muslim): 69% for Biden, 17% for Trump

4.Black: 87% for Clinton, 12% for Trump

5.White: 57% for Trump, 42% for Biden

Latinos will continue to grow in population due to higher birth rates and open-ended immigration policies. As they increase in population, and in votes, the push will be on by both political parties to expand their appeal to this culturally diverse group of Americans.

Should the Democrats win this battle, and the Latinos end up becoming the same predictable voting bloc as the Blacks, the GOP would find themselves in the same irrelevant status as they are in California today. Under this reshuffling of the Electoral College cards, the national Republicans would become dinosaurs stuck in a political no-man’s land.”
“An American Divorce,” JN Welch

For the Democrat plan to work, more and more third worlders must be brought in….and they must continue to vote Democrat:

Leaked Memo Confirms What We Already Knew About Democrats And Illegal Immigration

… a leaked document from the Center For American Progress (CAP) Action Fund shows what most of us have always known, but what Democrats like to pretend isn’t their reality.

Namely, the memo, in great detail, maps out how Democrats are relying on illegal immigration to prop up their political future.

“The fight to protect Dreamers is not only a moral imperative, it is also a critical component of the Democratic Party’s future electoral success,” reads Palmieri’s memo,…”

7. Of course, the California situation is what the Democrats expect.....that was the reason for the Cellers Hart Bill, inviting illegal aliens in, Obama tell illegals to vote, and Biden completely opening the border.

Did you know that by the end of Biden's term America will be 20% illegal immigrants?

Because if it doesn’t….the Democrats will have shot themselves in the foot.

8. On the one hand, there is this to be aware of:

Guess where 50% of the Democrat's invitees come from.

Since the 1960s, Democrats have instituted a plan to replace Americans with unskilled, welfare needing immigrants, who will be expected to vote Democrat. Destroying American values and heritage is secondary to the Democrats to accruing power.

In her book “Adios, America,” Coulter documents how different in values immigrant from their most favored nation, just South of the border, are.

Mexico....a violent, corrupt nation, but still the people of choice for immigration, legal or otherwise....by the Democrats.
Obama told them to go and vote, even if illegals.

BTW....between 1985 and 1999, the native-born in the prison population here increased 99%.
During that time, the foreign-born in the prisn on population increased 251%.
http://www.doccs.ny.gov/Research/Reports/2010/ForeignBorn_IRP_Report_2009.pdf

It is clear why the Democrats ignore this…..the nation isn’t their interest, the party is.

9. Hispanics are said to make up 19% of the population.....actually, there are far more thanks to the machinations of the Democrats.
Success for the Democrat Party depends entirely on whether or not Hispanics, legal and illegal, continue to vote for them.

But what if the Leftists/Democrats have made the same mistake about human nature that they always have, believing that people want to be evil, as they are? What if those leaving South America, Mexico, don’t want to make America as corrupt as what they left behind????

“The Latino people are not fools—they know their homelands are being overrun by the cartels and corrupt politicians. These Americans will support an aggressive US president who can properly distinguish between the good and the bad that coun- tries like Mexico have to offer.

If one is a Latino watching the White politicians banter back and forth, which group of Whites is most likely to lead America on the strongest path forward? Is it those progressive Whites who believe girls are not really girls and boys are not really boys, or is it those traditional Whites who believe strong female and male identities are essential to parenting and protecting the future of their country?

or do they want to follow those Americans who believe in strong families, limited government, and protecting liberty from tyranny?”
JN Welch, Op. Cit.

10. When one considers how well, or not, Hispanics fit with the Democrat Party, the question of nationalism, patriotism, becomes part of the conversation, and it is not a Democrat characteristic.

Did you know that many non-citizens join our all-volunteer forces….partly, I am sure, as a step toward citizenship?

That includes a number of Hispanics.

The number of Hispanics in our armed forces actually alters the size of the entire force.

This conversation from a best-seller novel:

“Are you opposed to Hispanics, as well?

"Average height and weight for a male U.S. Army soldier."

The guy said nothing, but I felt his annoyance fade away. The Quartermaster Corps buys millions of uniforms a year, and twice as many boots, all on a budget, so you can bet it knows the tale of the tape to the nearest half-inch and the nearest half-ounce. It can't afford not to, literally. And it loves to show off its specialized knowledge.

"No problem," the guy said. "Male adult population aged twenty to fifty as a whole in America goes five-nine and a half, and one seventy-eight. We're overrepresented with Hispanics by comparison with the nation as a whole, which brings our median height down one whole inch to five-eight and a half. We train pretty hard, which brings our median weight up three pounds to one eighty-one, muscle being generally heavier than fat."
From the novel "The Enemy" by Lee Child

That's the United States Army, our pride and joy...and our protection.

Get the point?

The news last night bears on the view that things may not be going Democrat’s way.

11. “RED WAVE: Republicans FLIP long held Democrat seat in Texas – and by a strong margin!

Last night Republicans flipped a long-held Democratic House seat in Texas’ 34th district in a special election to replace Filemon Vela, who announced his retirement earlier this year.

Maya Flores, who was endorsed by Greg Abbott and other top Republicans, won the seat by an 8 point margin, just squeaking past the 50% mark to win the race outright. Vela had won this district by 14 points in 2020.

The kicker is that this is a heavily hispanic district and Republicans just took it:

12. “Why Democrats should worry about more Latinos going for GOP in 2024 Earlier this month, the Wall Street Journal revealed that the Latinos its pollsters talked to support Republicans and Democrats in equal numbers, and that only one percentage point separates Joe Biden from Trump in a hypothetical 2024 rematch among the Latinos they surveyed.

Two Democratic-friendly research groups found that Latinos are increasingly dissatisfied with the blue view. Another Democrat-aligned firm discovered that the use of “Latinx” by Democratic politicians offends enough Latinos to the point that 30% of the ones they talked to would be less likely to vote for a politician who used the term.

The conservative political swing by Latinos has set off furious finger-pointing among Democratic operatives and glee among conservative ones, who now hope one of the gifts under their Christmas tree this year is the 2022 Latino vote…

I wrote about this phenomenon in multiple columns leading up to and after the 2020 presidential elections. I’m seeing it on the streets, in social media, and in the poll numbers — it’s real, and it’s reaching a boil.” Column: Why Democrats should worry about more Latinos going for GOP in 2024

14. “Minorities are finding a new political home with the Republican Party

Asian Americans aren’t the only community where the RNC is making inroads. While Democrats push socialism, radical abortion policies and refer to them as “Latinx,” Hispanic Americans are concerned about preserving freedoms, raising strong families and putting food on the table. It’s no wonder a recent Quinnipiac poll found that Biden’s approval rating with Hispanic voters was lower than any other racial or ethnic group: just 12 percent say they “approve strongly” of his time in office.

In fact, polls consistently show Hispanics are moving away from the Democratic Party. A Wall Street Journal poll from December found that Hispanic voters were equally divided over who they would vote for in the next election. The momentum certainly seems to be with the GOP: A record 103 Republican Hispanic candidates are seeking congressional seats this year. It’s an early sign that our efforts to take our message to new voters and investment in Hispanic community centers in states like Texas, Wisconsin and Florida are making an impact.” Minorities are finding a new political home with the Republican Party

Seems we are finding that all sorts of third worlders have more American values than Democrats.

We should have guessed it, shouldn’t we have?

"Record number of black Republicans running for office

GOP has 'an unprecedented opportunity'

..... record 81 black candidates are running for Congress as Republicans this year, an increase of more than 50% over the 2020 election cycle, according to the National Republican Congressional Committee.

In an opinion column for Newsweek, Jeff Charles noted the new development comes after decades of struggling to attract minorities minority voters as well as candidates.

Charles, the host of "A Fresh Perspective" podcast, said that in the "post-Trump era, it appears the GOP is beginning to embrace a new strategy, one that includes supporting minority and female candidates to appeal to a broader swath of voters."

However, the trend actually began under President Trump, who won the approval of a substantial portion of black voters and featured many black leaders during the 2020 Republican convention."
