"There's people being murdered unjustly and not being held accountable. People are being given paid leave for killing people. That's not right. That's not right by anyone's standards."
News from The Associated Press

So " blacks are being murdered unjustly"! Just curious. When is "murder" justified????

So when though the statistics show:
From 1980 to 2013, there were 2,269 officers killed in felonious incidents, and 2,896 offenders. The racial breakdown of offenders over the 33-year period was on par with the 10-year period: 52 percent were white, and 41 percent were black.
Are black or white offenders more likely to kill police?

So let's see... 2,269 officers killed by 1,506 whites and 1,187 blacks. Hmmmm..
USA population from 2000 to 2010 shows about 12.2% of USA population is black.
Strange isn't it. Kaepernick complaining about facts that while only 12.2% of the population, blacks
killed 41% of the officers.
And he says he is disrespecting the flag because:
"This is for people that don't have the voice. And this is for people that are being oppressed and need to have equal opportunities to be successful."

So that's the reason that nearly half the officers killed by a segment of the population that is less then 12%.
Sure doesn't sound oppressive to me.

You base your argument on a assumption that all shootings are equal .

There are obviously justified shootings.

The real question "what's the racial makeup of unarmed people shot by police ."

Oh that's real easy to find and I thought maybe you'd be smart enough to find!

– FACT: Despite the fact that black people commit an equal or greater number of violent crimes than whites,
whites are almost TWICE as likely to be killed by police officers. According to data from the Centers for Disease Control, between 1999 and 2011, 2,151 whites died as a result of being shot by police compared to 1,130 blacks.
A study by a Harvard professor released this month found no evidence of racial bias in police shootings
even though officers were more likely to interact physically with non-whites than whites.
The paper for the National Bureau of Economic Research, which examined thousands of incidents at 10 large police departments in California, Florida and Texas, concluded that police were no more likely to shoot non-whites than whites after factoring in extenuating circumstances.
“On the most extreme use of force — officer-involved shootings —
we find no racial differences in either the raw data or when contextual factors are taken into account,”
said Harvard economics professor Roland G. Fryer Jr. in the abstract of the July 2016 paper.
Mr. Fryer, who is black, told The New York Times that the finding of no racial discrimination in police shootings was “the most surprising result of my career.”

See the problem with most people like you is you have fallen for the MSM bias reporting!
You read headlines. You hear news clips but you don't look deeper!!!

This is the major problem with vast majority of Americans. They react before they research!!!

Blacks are commiting more crime based on what ? Data from a bias justice system that targets blacks!?

And the question remains . What's the breakdown of police shootings vs unarmed people .

Kaepernick is a moron and the NFL will fine him for every game where he sits through the flag ceremony.

The flag has nothing to do with BLM.

Santa Clara made a huge mistake bringing this worthless Niner team there.

They should have gotten the Raiders instead.

OK. So very very easy to refute your comments!
A Data from a biased justice system? How biased can skin color be?
The facts are blacks commit more crimes then whites in proportion to the population.
Take Officers KILLED!

Now how about your police shootings vs unarmed people!

Two sources: List of killings by law enforcement officers in the United States - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Guardian newspaper runs its own database, The Counted, which tracked US killings by police and other law enforcement agencies in 2015, and counted 1140 killed, with rates per million of 2.92 for "White" people, 7.2 for "Black", and 3.5 for "Hispanic/Latino", 1.34 for "Asian/Pacific Islander", and 3.4 for "Native American".
(NOTE: The USA has 12.2% blacks or 37.6 million at the above ratio per million 7.2 times 37.6 or of the 1,140 killed.. 267 BLACKS... 905 WHITES!)

MORE WHITES KILLED then Blacks killed! Statistics don't lie!

The database can be viewed by state, gender (1086 male, 53 female, 1 nonconforming) , race/ethnicity, age, classification (e.g., "gunshot"), and whether the person killed was armed (853 armed, 224 unarmed).[6] The database has continued to add new cases into 2016.

Mapping Police Violence, tracks killings starting January 1, 2013 and conducts analyses and visualizations examining rates of killings by police department, city, state, and national trends over time. Mapping Police Violence found 1,209 people killed by police in 2015, including 346 black people and 102 unarmed black people.[28]
Again backing up the above statistic that for every one black 3 whites were killed by cops!
Now another myth that Kaepernick believes: Unarmed blacks killed more then WHITES by cops!
Using 346 of the 1,209 killed in 2015 being black or 28% of the people killed by cops 1 out of 3 blacks were unarmed!
Again.. dig deeper on your own please!
This is what idiots repeating the same myths don't seem to understand!
IT is a myth! More Whites are killed by Cops then Blacks! The simple fact is more crime is committed by blacks as a percent of the USA population!

Finally why can't people be a little more rational LIKE THIS BLACK economics Harvard professor!
