It's DOA. The House will not do anything. The cliff is the best medicine. Both sides lose- tax increases for the entire country- and spending cuts.
Agreed. Going over the cliff is the fiscally responsible thing to do and the American people need to start feeling the consequences of their poor voting choices.
Yeah, I have to respect my 94 year old grandmother who learn many of her ways of life during the great depression. It might be good for everyone to live through a great depression so we appreciate our cellphones more.
The problem with that is going not affect a whole section of the population. The same section who was not affected by the great depression. And that is who ices the cakes for the republicans who are willing to go over the cliff. The representatives who block this bill will not be affected anywhere near the way hundreds of thousands of your run-of-the-mill Americans will be. And they won't lose a minute of sleep over it either.
