House Majority leader says he can't Support Fiscal cliff deal....

.

Holy crap, they'd better take a deep breath and think this one through.

Bad idea.

.
Oh, they have...The establishmentarians on the right are all about saving their sacred Pentagon spending every bit as much as the establishmentarians on the left are frantic to save their beloved socialistic welfare state.

The cave will come...Spending will never ever be reduced....Mark it down.

Exactly been saying basically the same. Everyone wants to cut spending but no one wants to cut it from there programs.

Yep, some things never change. Gotta get re-elected, that's always the top priority.

Man, to be a fly on the wall in Boehner's office right now.

Indeed but i thought he was actually going to support this haven't heard anything from him.

Gop is falling apart they claim Obama doesn't compromise but he does and the Repubs still say no. Shits entertaining.

But Obama was just claiming last night that he stuck to his guns and kicked Republican ass.

You want it both ways, don't you?

Proof or GTFO...... Oh yeah you don't..... Lols Poor Republicans :lol::lol::lol:

I got chunks of toads like you in my stool, son.

As a neocon establishment insider hack, he'll support whatever the ruling class tells him to support...Problem is that he has enough intransigent members of his own caucus who are finally refusing to be bullied anymore.

With any luck, they'll oust his gutless ass when the time comes to vote for Speaker.

Why? Tax increases are good, right? Spending cuts need to happen, right? The "Cliff" is the best outcome....

According to the book of Oblamer it's only fair that the 'rich' pay taxes. (which they do). Now Oblamer is calling for more taxes and hardly any cuts. Are the Perople that dumb that they can't see what he's doing to America?
There has been no recovery and by imposing higher taxes and not cutting the deficit, Oblamer is taking us down the path to ruin. The GOP is right, for every penny of tax (revenue) there should be an equal amount of of cuts to the deficit.

I never really liked him but after Obama was re-elected he seemed to get more reasonable. But he is getting a lot of flack from the ultra right which well is most of them.

Why are some of you gloating that the current congress was elected by the people?? The same people will be getting rid of them shortly.

Oboingo signed onto the sequester deal too....Now he wants to back out of it and blame republicans if he can't.

And gutless worms like Boner are too gutless to point out this truth and let the blame get shifted onto them.

Fuckem.

This is why the bill is DOA...no spending cuts. Just tax increases to "PUNISH" the successful. Fuck that shit. Bring on the cliff!

Latest updates: Will the House vote? – CNN Political Ticker - CNN.com Blogs

I guess the GOP wants to lose there jobs at mid-terms. Because that's what will happen come the midterms America already spoke in the Presidential election. This is one way to end the gridlock though :lol::lol::lol:

America did speak in the election and REELECTED the GOP control of the house which CONTROLS fiscal matters.

You're only half right. An overly gerrymandered America spoke.

really shooting themselves in the foot it looks like.

America saw this. The senate working together to come up with something, the white house jumping on board, and then the house not backing it.
The house will get the blame, and thus it could be bad come the next election. The public already blames the GOP for most of this mess. Putting your foot down like this is not a smart move.

but hey, you gate what you pay for.

But what if we went over the "cliff" and nothing happened?
