Homeless Texas man moves to San Francisco because city pays him $620.00 per month

It sure does encourage socialism/communism.
Straight out of Pelosi's playbook.

Does it really though?

Do you think that most people would be happy with $620 a month? I would be pissed if that was all I made a week.

If you're going to San Francisco
Be sure to wear some flowers(and lice) in your hair
If you're going to San Francisco
You're gonna meet some gentle people there

For those who come to San Francisco
Summertime will be a love-in there
In the streets of San Francisco
Gentle people with flowers(and lice) in their hair

All across the nation
Such a strange vibration
People in motion
There's a whole generation
With a new explanation
People in motion
Netflix and PornHubs free as the ocean

The more you make the bigger bills you just have dip shit. How much do you fucking think Social Security pays a month?

There are no homeless people in Texas?
Did I say that?

Reading the stats states like Mississippi and Alabama only have 50% capacity in homeless shelters where blue states are almost all filled

That is just sort of fucking stupid. Our income went up about 13% last year and our bills did not get any bigger. Why would the two be related?

For me it will be somewhere around 3 grand according to the SSA. But that is a good decade off so who knows what will happen then. We view Social Security as a bonus, something we do not factor into our retirement planning.

It's human nature you numb nuts..the more you make the more you buy

And you think everyone gets three grand a month? More like $800

The people that would be happy with that are the problem, and you are paying for it.

Subsidizing bad behavior encourages more of it. Either progressives don't get that, or they do get that and that's what they want.

Only if you are flipping moron with no self control.

All I know is how much I will be getting if it still exist in 10 years.
You only live once, what's the point of having a shit load of money in the bank driving a piece of shit car and eating at McDonalds?

This holds true if one goes from poor to having money I guess.

For those already doing well that then make more money, less changes.

The guy who used to be keyene west is trying to buy the Chicago Bulls ...

Your theory is B.S. plus Elon Musk not to mention.

That's about what I made monthly as a private E-1 in the US Army, circa 1991. Look on the bright side: perhaps the promise of free money will attract so many deadbeat assholes to San Francisco that California will become too bloody heavy and break off into the Pacific and float away.
Or it will fill up with human feces.

1. Most homeless people are happier with $620 a month than with $260 a month. That is why they flock to California and other "progressive" states.

2. You wouldn't be happy with $620 because you are working. They are not (except for petty theft).

3. The average rent in an area is irrelevant to those who are homeless. They are mostly druggies/mentally ill people. Otherwise they would get a job and move to a lower rent area.

4. You seem quite self-satisfied about your own income and retirement plans. Have you seen the Smug episode of the South Park TV series?

1. I get that, but the comment I replied to said this would lead people to socialism. that is a crock of shit

2. And as such, them doing this is not going to encourage more working people not to work.

3. I agree, not sure why you brought it up.

4. I am satisfied with our income and retirement plans, we have worked hard to get where we are. In 2011 we were below poverty level, today we are in the top 10% at least of income earners. That did not happen by accident or because of which party was or was not in power in DC.

I have watched 1 episode of South Park and decided it was not for me. So, no I have not seen that episode. I also do not think we are smug, but there is nothing wrong in being proud of where you hard work gets you.
