Homeless Ohioans for Obama registering in droves;

Well.. at least they're alive with phony names.. and not the normal deceased folk that normally get registered to vote very mysteriously and even more mysteriously tend to vote DEM

One word, Dave......Diebold.

Getting a government check and complaining about "socialism."

I love it!

Try getting a retirement check for services rendered just like anyone else who retires, idiot. I got fucking shot at and had to do some shooting for mine.

What do you do for yours? Change tires?

I want to thank you guys for showing us what's most important to Democrats... It's not important that people understand the issues... It's only important that you get your votes... Here is another difference between liberals and conservatives, conservatives stick to their guns no matter what the public thinks, and liberals don't care what they do as long as they get votes....sad.

oh that's pretty funny considering the second highest person on the Republican ticket doesn't even seem to understand the issues KMAN! so get off your high horse.

Also, if the people voting for McCain understood the issues, this election would be over with by now and Obama would be leading by at least 40%...but alas the Republican don't undersatnd the issues, they don't care about the issues, at least not the issues that matter to the majority of the Country, like health care, education, energy, global warming, the economy, etc. they are about their guns and saving those unborn babies.

yep...those republicans are some informed voters :cuckoo:

Neither side is really informed. Most partisans have no clue of what goes on, they choose sides and don't bother to think 'will these people actually do good for the country'. Instead they follow 'ideals' and slogans.

Every citizen should have the right to vote.

I often hate that fact, since that means so many idiots (most of them NOT homeless) get to vote, but there it is.

Kit

This is really a good observation....

Many of the extremists just follow in lockstep with any rumor or slogan because it is like a flag waving rallying cry, attention whoring way to show where they stand.. it don't need to be a truth for them to feel better about their whack-job extremist stance

DIEBOLD, election stealing, dimpled chad, war for oil, Haliburton, etc ... great shouting material that fit right into the the hippie extremist mold of shouting anything for the sake of shouting, no matter how ignorant they are to the truth

And lord knows we see it from the extremist right on here too... KMAN being a prime example with many of the threads he starts

It is not complaining that every citizen has the right to vote and to choose whether to vote...

but the blatant bribery for votes... playing games on the edge of the system, being taken advantage of because of no requirement for ID and proof of citizenry/residence to vote... THAT is the issue

I don't care if it is a homeless person who gets up and personally decides to vote for Obama, McCain, Nader, or freaking Scrappy Doo... as long as the vote is not farmed for a party or candidate as we are seeing done with many of these 'activist' groups

I find it odd that they even bother, to be honest.

Now that we know it doesn't matter who votes, but instead, who counts the votes, I mean.

§ 1973i. Prohibited acts

(b) Intimidation, threats, or coercion
No person, whether acting under color of law or otherwise, shall intimidate, threaten, or coerce, or attempt to intimidate, threaten, or coerce any person for voting or attempting to vote, or intimidate, threaten, or coerce, or attempt to intimidate, threaten, or coerce any person for urging or aiding any person to vote or attempt to vote, or intimidate, threaten, or coerce any person for exercising any powers or duties under section 1973a (a), 1973d, 1973f, 1973g, 1973h, or 1973j (e) of this title.

Why isn't riding around and picking up homeless people an act to coerce someone to vote? Also, has anyone given any thought that in Ohio , the giving away of t-shirts and refreshments and bus rides to and from the polling place is an attempt to buy votes? Even in Michigan free Jay-Z concert tickets? Why is this not buying votes?
