Holy shit, Was their voter fraud in Maine?

In the end the bigger story will be that Mitt cheated, twice and that Paul won, even if it's never proven. The GOP is killing themselves, they might never win an election again IMO, in fact Paul has a bigger reason to run third party.

No, that will never be the story. As long as the televised media doesn't come clean on the issue, the story in the majority of people's minds is going to be that Paul lost. If you don't have the blessing of the media, you don't have shit.

The bottom line is that an entire county was denied a voice in the electoral process, over an issue of a snowstorm in one of the snowiest states in the country. Forget about who SHOULD have won, or who COULD have won, the issue at hand here is that voters were denied a voice and the state party bosses are refusing to reconvene and let them have their say.

If that doesn't matter to you because your guy already has the de facto W, then that's just fucking sad.

What's next...Pima County in Arizona cancels their primaries because it's too hot?

So what can we do about this not counting of everyone's vote? Start a petition? Although I don't think those work very well. Have everyone call/email the leader of the party?

There's a precinct captain from another county in Maine who counted the votes right there himself, that had called the state GOP to confirm vote counts, and the person told him a number that wasn't what the precinct counted themselves. Paul had won the precinct, and the person at the GOP told him numbers which put Romney as the winner. It was a small precinct, I think less than 20 votes total.

Something really fucked up went down in Maine.

Republicans want to run a country they've worked to ruin.

They can't even run an election in a tiny state.

I saw all the videos on it and I did my own research on it. I'm just asking if there is anything We can do to make it right.

If Republicans would just "stay home" and give Democrats a chance to "make it right".

Republicans only against voter fraud with others do it. We've seen this pattern in everything they do.

Another stupid bullshit lie from the Mother of all Trolls on this site.

Rank and file Republicans have been against voter fraud forever, dipshit. When the Rockefeller GOP elite wants to veto the voters preference in the GOP they use bullshit like this to do and it has been going on for decades.

Only a conceited leftwing ass like you would think Republicans dont care about it unless it affects them.

Oh really?

Yes, really.

Then why is it the entire right on this site talks bullshit aobut the court documented evidence of republican election cheating that spans decades when I post it?

I have no idea; got a link?

James Lee's testimony

On 17 April 2001, James Lee testified, before the McKinney panel, that the state had given DBT the directive to add to the purge list people who matched at least 90% of a last name. DBT objected, knowing that this would produce a huge number of false positives (non-felons).[7]

Lee went on saying that the state then ordered DBT to shift to an even lower threshold of 80% match, allowing also names to be reversed (thus a person named Thomas Clarence could be taken to be the same as Clarence Thomas). Besides this, middle initials were skipped, Jr. and Sr. suffixes dropped, and some nicknames and aliases were added to puff up the list.

"DBT told state officials", testified Lee, "that the rules for creating the [purge] list would mean a significant number of people who were not deceased, not registered in more than one county, or not a felon, would be included on the list. DBT made suggestions to reduce the numbers of eligible voters included on the list". According to Lee, to this suggestion the state told the company, "Forget about it".

"The people who worked on this (for DBT) are very adamant... they told them what would happen", said Lee. "The state expected the county supervisors to be the failsafe." Lee said his company will never again get involved in cleansing voting rolls. "We are not confident any of the methods used today can guarantee legal voters will not be wrongfully denied the right to vote", Lee told a group of Atlanta-area black lawmakers in March 2001.[8]

Well, you got this one right, it appears.

That is outrageous and should be stopped.

2002 New Hampshire Senate election phone jamming scandal - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The 2002 New Hampshire Senate election phone jamming scandal involves the use of a telemarketing firm hired by that state's Republican Party (NHGOP) for election tampering. The tampering involved using a call center to jam the phone lines of a Get Out the Vote (GOTV) operation. In the end, 900 calls were made for 45 minutes of disruption to the Democratic-leaning call centers.

During that state's 2002 election for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by Robert C. Smith, the NHGOP hired GOP Marketplace, based in Northern Virginia, to jam another phone bank being used by the state Democratic Party and the firefighters' union for efforts to turn out voters on behalf of then-governor Jeanne Shaheen on Election Day. John E. Sununu, the Republican candidate, won a narrow victory. In addition to criminal prosecutions, disclosures in the case have come from a civil suit filed by the state's Democratic Party against the state's Republican Party (now settled).

Hopefully the people who are responsible for that went to jail for a while.

No shit, thanks for proving my point.
Proving that I don't give a damn about your opinion on how you views someones grammar mistakes? Gald I could let you know.

No, that you don't really have a proper grasp of the English language at a grade school level, and you don't give a shit. I was probably too lenient in my calling it a "mistake" on your part. It's probably more just a lack of language knowledge.

It's not like I'm nitpicking. You didn't make a simple spelling error. "It's ridiculous not rediculous!" You also didn't forget to capitalize or miss some punctuation. I wouldn't give a shit about little shit like that. It's also your severe lack of caring that also makes me mock you even more.
You really have a hard time here don't you? I have a grasp, I just don't give a fuck. If you're to stupid to fucking to comprehend what is written leave this damn discussion.

I used to be a very active member of the Maine Democratic Party.

Among other things I sat on the board of Maines largest political community organization. It has something like 30,000 paying members

I'm not formally associatd with either group anymore.

We had, how shall I put this?

Artistic differences?

How could anybody have a hard time here? Supremely enjoyable.

As for your question, there's voter fraud any time you hold an election. The numbers are so small as to not have a significant impact, however.
