You have got to be kidding me...

And don't think that Obama isn't of the same mind.

No one has the "Right" to be an American Citizen that wasn't born to an American Citizen.

(Yes, I don't believe that just being born in the U.S. should make you a citizen, especially if your parent(s) are here illegally or on visas.)

Holder Calls Amnesty a 'Civil Right' | Amnesty | Fox Nation

Duriing a April 24th speech to the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Attorney General Eric Holder said that creating a "pathway to earned citizenship" was a "civil right.”

"Creating a pathway to earned citizenship for the 11 million unauthorized immigrants in this country is essential. The way we treat our friends and neighbors who are undocumented – by creating a mechanism for them to earn citizenship and move out of the shadows – transcends the issue of immigration status. This is a matter of civil and human rights. It is about who we are as a nation. And it goes to the core of our treasured American principle of equal opportunity."

Holder needs to go back to law school.

Everything liberals want is a civil right.....buttfucking, amnesty, pedophilia, necrophilia, socialism, owning a Ferrari.....these guys are clowns.

Correct.

Holder is simply citing acknowledged and settled 14th Amendment jurisprudence. See: Plyler v. Doe (1982).

All persons in the United States are entitled to basic due process rights, including those undocumented.

One is innocent until proven guilty, including those undocumented.

And a particular class of persons cannot be singled-out for punitive measures, including those undocumented.

You come here illegally and end up being rewarded for it?

More importantly to Holder and Obama, they get to vote for liberals that will give them more free comfort and support...at our expense. 11 million votes guaranteed to multiply as the welfare whores go to breeding.

This isn't about being treated fairly by the police or courts, but about becoming a citizen. Plyler vs Doe didn't address that, neither does the 14th.

Does it say that all persons in the United States are entitled to citizenship...and voting?

So what's the purpose of being a citizen? Right, I cant wait to hear this.....

So if they don't hold valid papers they are out, correct pissant?

This is mind bogglingly stupid.

They are in the country illegally, that does not make them eligible for citizenship. This is such a widely held viewpoint that no court on the planet, not even the European Court of Human Rights, has ever said otherwise. All that o cured on Plyler is that 5 idiots decided that illegal immigrant children had to be given the same education of legal children. Even at that it was limited to K-12, does not apply to public universities, or anything else the government does. It also has nothing to do with punitive measures.
