Hillary Clinton : Heterosexual Marriage is a Fundamental Bedrock Principle of Civilization

She finally figured out it's impossible for Jim and John or Jane and Jill to make babies.

Or she stopped caring. As no one is required to have kids or be able to in order to get married.
One way to stop civilization is to have 100% gay marriage. The current ones don't give a hoot about the future.

Which might have some relevance if we had 100% gay marriages.

We don't.

A quote with (almost) a source linked, McRacist?

Bit of a departure for you, innit?

No it didn't. She's pandering. There are more heterosexual voters than homosexual voters. She'll swing back as soon as the election is over. Remember Obama saying he was Christian? Once in office, if he was appearing anywhere that there was a cross, he had them removed or covered up from his view, like any good Muslim would.

This is ignorant and ridiculous.

Same-sex couples make up only a small percentage of overall marriages; indeed, one of many reasons why conservative opposition to same-sex couples marrying is unwarranted and inane.

Its very unlikely that she'll switch back. Even if we're using your 'pandering' narrative, support for same sex marriage outpaces opposition by a considerable margin:

Same-Sex Marriage Support Reaches New High at 55%

Americans' support for the law recognizing same-sex marriages as legally valid has increased yet again, now at 55%. Marriage equality advocates have had a string of legal successes over the past year, most recently this week in Pennsylvania and Oregon where federal judges struck down bans on gay marriage.

Same-Sex Marriage Support Reaches New High at 55

With most of that opposition focused among conservatives. Which won't vote for Hillary anyway. Among younger voters, support is 8 in 10. Among liberals, almost 8 in 10. Among moderates, 6 in 10. So why would she change her position back? By my account or yours, your prediction makes no sense.

I think at this point it's considered a given that Democrats support same sex marriage. 2004 was over a decade ago, many people have changed their views since then by evidence of multiple polls that demonstrate a reversal of majority opinion. It's only natural to expect politicians to make that same evolutionary leap.

Just wait, in 4 - 8 years the Republican politicians will by plurality also support same sex marriage.

As I have said many times Hillary is the lefts version of Mitt. She will never be president as she has to overcome herself as the biggest problem plaguing her run.

And in 20 to 30 years, they'll tell us how they *always* supported same sex marriage. Ted Cruz will probably have some quippy anecdote about how he marched with the gays in support of same sex marriage.
