Ok go ahead and gloat & taunt a little. lol! No but seriously, lets not go overboard celebrating. Lets not make silly proclamations like "The Democratic Party is Dead & Buried Forever" Or "Elections have consequences,so there!" That kind of gloating & taunting is for Democrats. Lets try and be better than that. This is a great first step towards taking our country back but there is still a lot more work to be done. The Socialists/Progressives still control the Senate and the White House. So our work is definitely not done. Celebrate modestly and then get back to work. Next up,onto the Senate & White House! :)

Marco had the great line. It's a second chance for republicans to be what they said they would be not so long ago.

It seems to me that the Republicans just gained a place in the ring.

Now it's time to fight.

Yea well said. It is a second chance. Lets do it right. Back to real Conservatism.

Obamacare was the tipping point for me. Pelosi's we have to pass in order to know what it says and unrealistic deficit numbers sealed my resolve to see the Democrats lose in 2010. In my state one Congress person didn't run for reelection and my Representative was aggressively defeated by active campaigning and support from many, including myself.

Now we get to see if we swapped horse thieves for cow wranglers.

It is basically the GOP's one chance. If they blow this by getting all bipartisan and deciding whether the individual mandate should entail a $2500 or $1500 fine then they're toast. The Tea party will organize an actual political third party. And I will join them.

Didn't know you had been scarred that much....sorry. :(

This election is like going to the zoo and tapping on the glass to watch the monkeys go crazy! Toss the Dems some bananas so they will calm down a little.

No time to rest upon laurels. Too much work to be done.

Most of the celebrating and taunting is coming from the rabid left, claiming victory with Reid and California and a handful of other Dem wins.

And no matter what election, I would never be stupid enough to say "liberalism is dead". Liberalism is an ideaology that will always be around and one that the uninformed, lazy, immoral and unethical types will gravitate to.

Yeah...like that lazy Adams and Jefferson and Madison. Lazy, immoral and unethical types.

If you think the Liberalism of the 1600s and 1700s has any relation to the 'liberalism' of modern America, you slept through your Poli-Sci classes back in the day.

Liberalism of today has nothing to do with our founding fathers. Point of fact liberals of today are actually progressives. When the progressives become hugely unpopular they highjacked the term liberal to describe themselves.

You've got to be braindead to actually think that Adams, Jefferson, or most any other Founding Father would be on board with the progressive liberal agenda today of government intrusion into every aspect of your personal life and the attack on God and Christianity at every turn.

Well said. No need to add anything. Thanks.

And the Conservatism of those days don't bear any relation to the "conservatism" of modern America....so, your point would be? :eusa_eh:

Prove it. The whole conservative ideal is to live by the principles this nation was founded on.
