Progressivism and Liberalism
Why do warmed over 1960's socialist and liberals attempt to call themselves "progressives" when both historically and ideologically they are not. These 1960's leftovers (that have polluted our youth through education system) have attempted to create a new flavor out of the same old baloney.
Here are the major accomplishments of 1960's liberals:
1.) Massive government run state with central planning. Unsustainable budget deficits that have robbed future generations.
2.) Generational welfare and government dependency by Blacks in America. Democrats must have a constant class of victims to "champion." So liberals keep Blacks down economically so they can pull them out and use them like a worn out stage prop every election cycle and scream "social justice!" Democrats don't want Blacks to experience the liberating effect of the free market. Otherwise they would not support a constant barrage of welfare check and affirmative action programs that place unqualified people in the workplace and teach them to cry "victim."
3.) Loss of Vietnam War. Right after Tet 1968, the United States had delivered a terrible blow to the Viet Cong. At that very moment when the coup de grace could have been played...LBJ and liberals quit fighting. Marxist groups marching in the streets helped to back stab the Republic from within.
4.) The roots of the great lie known as "the war on women" began here. liberals wanted to erase all gender roles because in a Marxist state all are merely "comrades."
