Journalist Arrested During D.C. Protest Faces 75 Years In Prison
“Being near a newsworthy event is no crime for anyone, reporters included.”

See the constitution is a grand ol thing when you got a black guy in the white house, gun rights, state right, freedom of speech, etc.....but now all of a sudden, its silent and so are all those red nuts who took to the streets when Obama was in office.

Aaron Cantú, a freelance journalist arrested during Inauguration Day protests in Washington, D.C., has been indicted by a federal grand jury on riot charges and faces up to 75 years in prison if convicted.

Cantú, who says he was working as a journalist at the time, was one of 230 people arrested during violent demonstrations held Jan. 20 as President Donald Trump was sworn into office. Six other journalists were among those detained by authorities, all of whom have since had charges against them dropped.

Almost every thug rioting that day had a cell phone and were recording each other. That doesn't make them a journalist. It also doesn't excuse destruction of property, assault, and terrorism.

I fail to see what any of that has to do with the Tea Party or constitutional rights.

Just because you are a reporter you still have to follow the law. And I doubt he will get a long sentence.
A grand jury indicted Cantú last week on eight felony charges, including inciting a riot, rioting and conspiracy to riot.

And if they had punched the journalist they would have been elected to Congress.

Just shows how much the public hates the media for being silent so long about how the Constitution has been violated over the years, like when FDR locked up innocent Japanese Americans during WW2. I reckon now they will reap their harvest.

Do you notice that these violent attacks never happen where open or concealed carry law abiding citizens live? Chicken shit liberals know that they would be mistaken for ISIS members and shot on sight.

What's to be outraged about, dipshit?

Ask your GED counselor if they offer the course Grand Jury Proceedings 101 and if so sign up for it. If you pay attention in class, ask questions if you don't understand something, study, etc. you'll not only learn about
GJs, but also realize you've kept your string of idiotic threads 100% intact with this one.
