He’s not only funny, he’s a pretty cool dude…

I agree...to a certain extent. Schools should not be turned into armed camps. However, a more proactive approach with regard to actually policing the school should be taken. This should be married with more proactive security measures. There is a problem and there should be deliberate, PHYSICAL action taken.

Why yes we need more cops to stand outside and watch kids get killed..Form a perimeter and by God be sure to keep safe...

Like it has been said before, create points of entry and exit, use metal detectors, have proactive counciling for the problem child, and take swift action against the child if showing real signs of mental problems before physical aggression begins. Have a 1-2-3 step program that is "bullet proof" in dealing with any problem children, and if it means visiting the parents or parent to assess their environment then so be it. Document everything, and keep records. Inside the secure zone of the school, work to make it an environment that kids love to be in, otherwise to make sure it doesn't ressemble a prison or undesired place to be. Make the environment the same as a Google work environment, even if have to send reps to tour the Google facilities to get an idea of how to create very attractive environments for kids to be proud of, and would want to apply themselves in, and would want to learn in. The gun has nothing to do with what we can do, and it's time to move forward to secure the schools, but do it right.
