Heat to soar to record levels in next 5 years.

Look. The fact you didn’t even know the planet is in an ice age should disqualify you from discussing the planet’s climate.

We're not in an ice age - not as it is commonly understood. The last one of those ended around 20,000 or so years ago, as I explained to you earlier. Geologically speaking, we're technically in an interglacial period because there are still ice sheets, but that's melting away and when they're gone, they won't be back for a while - like millions of years.

You know your geology, but you either have no clue about the science that explains human-caused global warming, or you do and you're just trying to bullshit everyone because you're an energy shill.

That is exactly what they are saying.

Lots of things "drive" the climate. The sun. Geological activity. Tilt of the earth's axis. Myriad other things.

That man’s GHG emissions are driving a climate change.

Well they have a point. GHGs prevent outgoing radiation from escaping back into space, so irrespective of the words you use to describe it, GHGs are causing climatic change. This has been observed over and over again.

The Southwest gets some reprieve from the record-setting heat as high temperatures, though still extremely hot, return to more normal values for this time of year.
More credibility killing lies.

We are having "normal temperatures" They are well within the range youd expect this time of year.

Its' amazing this continues to go on.

Phoenix is not experiencing "normal" heat.

Last ice age ended late 1800’s.

You are a moron. The ice age began ~3 million years ago. You are confusing glacial periods for an ice age which is a common mistake of morons. The ice age has experienced ~30 glacial cycles since it began which consist of glacial and interglacial periods.

No. GHG don’t prevent upward radiation from escaping. That’s something a moron would say because he doesn’t understand it. GHG slow the transfer of heat. Like a choke.

But the facts remain, the planet cooled for millions of years with CO2 levels greater than 600 ppm. That’s a fact.

In purely geological terms, yes, but that assumes glaciation will continue. Have you checked out Antarctic sea ice lately? In case you have problems with basic astrophysics and geography, it's their WINTER down there, and their ice isn't recovering.

We are not in an ice age, dude. No matter how many times you whip out your Quaternary "cite". We are entering the Anthropocene, and shit is about to get real because of it.

You want ice? Go to your freezer - probably plenty of it there as long as the power grid stays up.

You're making shit up now. You have no fucking clue what you're talking about. Here, here's a little kiddie science page for little kiddie dipshits like you who play with atmospheric physics you don't understand:

Increases in emissions of greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide and methane due to human activity trap heat in the atmosphere, capturing outgoing radiation that would otherwise escape into space.

Now that's NASA's website, but I should take the word of some anonymous troll who got his "science" degree from Bubba State University, lol.

NASA, the same political department that claimed it found extraterrestrial life on Mars 30 years ago.

You do realize we know the threshold temperature for extensive continental glaciation / ice free conditions for each pole and the corresponding sea level for that temperature, right? So have you ever sense checked saying stupid things like assuming glaciation will continue before you say stupid things like that? Seriously?

The planet is in an interglacial period of the ice age, dummy. Say it with me.
