Maybe it will turn out he really did deserve that Nobel Peace Prize, He certainly won't be responsible for the death of 1000,000+ innocents like Bush is.

Yes it does. We have no boots on the ground and that's a good thing.

However if our Air Force is to be successful those ridiculous ROE's need to change.

I agree. The ROE's are ridiculous. They hamstring anyone who has to fight.

Of course to some being kind, humane and merciful is way more important that our soldiers and air force personnel staying alive.

Thank God we have no soldiers on the ground because those ROE's will get them killed.

One of the reasons I don't think large numbers of ground troops is a good idea right now. If that is the decision let the generals fight the war.

Of course taking their land destabilizes the ISIS claim to a true califate so, strategically, it makes sense to do it, but don't bother unless the will is there to do what is necessary.

Dropping leaflets to warn truck drivers that ISIS oil trucks were going to become targets was the right thing to do. There was no military benefit to killing these drivers because they were not soldiers of ISIS. Once the drivers were warned, the trucks became targets. The US made the first strikes and the French and Russian followed those strikes up with additional strikes. Why some people would be angry that forced labor civilian truck drivers would be spared while they cheer about other innocents being killed is a disturbing mystery. It may be fair to suspect that fear has a lot to do with it.
