Hawaii volcano disaster will affect marine and wildlife for decades

The Hawaii volcano eruption is expected to impact the state’s marine and animal life for decades as the environment changes in the wake of the lava flow. Kilauea, on Hawaii’s Big Island, first start erupting on May 3, resulting in lava oozing over residential communities and heading towards the Pacific Ocean. The lava first met the ocean on May 20. Kilauea and the new eruptions around the globe are causing a loss of over 1w/m^2 in the equatorial regions surface, which is primarily covered by oceans. Several Researchers are looking closely at the energy loss as it is effecting the current ENSO shift, by slowing the slight warming trend, which currently sits at just +0.13 deg C. Regions 1,2,3, and now 4 are cooling again very quickly and the surface heat is dissipating fast. This is going to affect things globally, not just that region.

We never had this before -- Global Warming!!
I've been looking closely at polar jet stream strength tonight and how it is affecting storm generation. As the sun reduces the energy the earth receives, the bigger the polar jet becomes...

This is Inuku's historical average temperatures on the edge of Hudson bay;

Today, it did not get above freezing and is slated to be below freezing for the next week... The AMO has gone cold and there is very little ocean heat left. The locals are very worried as they are not yet receiving supplies for the next winter...

At this rate they may never have an open port this year... An event that hasn't happened in over 90 years.
