Report:

Hardly any plastics can be truly recycled, and producers have known for decades

15 Feb 2024

Commentary:
This has been known since the creation of plasrics in the lab.
Production wise, other than H.D. polypropylene and polyethylene terephthalate most plastics cannot be recycled.
As a general rule 25% recycled material can be used in manufature of mew plastic.
Plastic recycling is commonly believed to be a solution to plastic pollution, but a recent study shows the process may actually increase plastic pollution.1
Perhaps we should all stop for a few minutes an view the following:

Wait until they find a link to some additive that causes dementia, and it turns out the corporation knew about it. I'm convinced it's going to happen.

Monsanto, Union Carbide, Bayer, Dow Chemical - they are all evil as fuck.

This is true. A student of mine who happens to be a research scientist developing polymers for the military has told us that once you process a plastic into a given state, it is fixed, and every time you grind it up, melt it and try to repurpose it, the polymer chains get damaged, degraded, and it cannot be reused but a few more times to make increasingly inferior and useless compounds.

Just leave a piece of plastic out in the sun and it accelerates the aging process to where you soon find that the material has lost all of its original properties, partly because in the process, the plastic expires many of the key compounds necessary to give it its original qualities.

Of all the chemicals were exposed to,vdo we know how many have been tested for safety? Why as a society do we let big industry get away with putting bad things into our environment?

Then why use and advocate for Solar Panels and Wind Turbines, nothing consumes more chemicals than the manufacturing of Green Energy.

Dementia, I guess if we want to find the cause, we should study the Biden

People will rightfully question a vaccine but not corporate pollution because some how that's none of our business. Mind boggling.

We need to fund more STEM programs so when we discover that plastics and other pollutants actually degrade over time, we can develop better 'forever' chemicals and other pollutants. :omg:

The same kind of lies is also told about recycling paper.
Recycling paper creates more pollution than virgin paper, which is a 100% renewable product in North America since the late 1980s.

wood is nice, tons of balsa wood, is cut down in the rain forest to build wind turbines, that needs to stop

but wood is great if we grow it for houses and stuff, a shame we do not export more
We import nearly $10Billion more 'sawn' lumber than we export. However, this might include many exotic woods that aren't grown here.
