It was Ronald Reagan who led the charge. Republicans doing everything they could to terrorize the American people into believing health care is "bad" and will lead to the nation's downfall.

60% of the elderly had no insurance. Now they all do.

Republicans are desperately trying to keep needy Americans from access to health care.

Medicare's Birthday

Medicare is a the nation’s most popular social program. It has been working to provide those 65 and over, those with disabilities and certain medical conditions, with access to comprehensive healthcare without fear of bankruptcy.

Ask Republicans what it is the Republican Party is doing "FOR" America and you get instant attacks. They were wrong then. They are wrong now. They have been wrong for the last 20 years on everything.

At least they're consistent.

The pubs will do anything they can to take this away from the American people when, in fact, it should be available to all of us.

Is America still on the road to communism? I have been sweating out that communism thing since we were warned Social Security would turn America into a communist nation. But since then, I have learned that lots of things could turn America into a communist nation, electing FDR, welfare, not welfare for the rich but the poor, a forty hour work-week, Obama-care, income tax, and tons of other things including Medicare.
