This is a Halloween-consumerism parable inspired by the youth-engineering films The Witches, Toys, and The Polar Express.

There were many trick-or-treaters for Halloween 2017, the first Halloween under U.S. President Donald Trump, a former casino-magnate in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Halloween 2017 carried with it much social symbolism regarding pedestrian expectations in the new America under an 'official consumerism flag' and under overt capitalism-minded leadership. Parents thought about what it really 'meant' to purchase brand-name candies for their kids (e.g., Kit-Kat, Snickers, Twix, Jolly Rancher, etc., etc.).

In this arena, there was a strange story of a group of trick-or-treaters in Michigan who went out just after sunset and began making their expected 'circuit' in their suburban neighborhood. This group was comprised of two girls and three boys, and the boys were dared by their classmates to obtain as much Twix chocolate-bars as possible. This group (let's refer to them as the 'H17 Angels') was excited about Halloween (as all kids usually are) and were also amusingly 'bonded' to brand-consumerism, trekking 'specially' for Twix!

When H17 got to the last house on the block, a notorious 'weirdo-house' where a grumpy old man who moved around in an electric wheelchair lived alone. The old man was taken care of by his very tall Romanian butler and bodyguard (whose name no one really knew). When H17 knocked on the old man's door, the Romanian butler (whom many kids referred to humorously as 'Dark-Man') answered. Two of the boys in H17 asked 'Dark-Man,' "Do you have enough Twix for us to win a school-yard dare tomorrow?" to which 'Dark-Man' ominously replied, "Halloween will always be about civilization." It was a 'TrumpUSA-slang' Halloween indeed!
