Owebama will be the first ever POTUS to inflict a net job loss on America.

DWYER: Bush tax cuts boosted federal revenue - Washington Times
But the real jolt for tax-cutting opponents was that the 03 Bush tax cuts also generated a massive increase in federal tax receipts. From 2004 to 2007, federal tax revenues increased by $785 billion, the largest four-year increase in American history. According to the Treasury Department, individual and corporate income tax receipts were up 40 percent in the three years following the Bush tax cuts. And (bonus) the rich paid an even higher percentage of the total tax burden than they had at any time in at least the previous 40 years. This was news to theNew York Times, whose astonished editorial board could only describe the gains as a “surprise windfall.”

Lose jobs
lose wall street wealth
you lose taxable income
Not Tax Policy as this was proved as well as job growth until the credit bubble busted

You wonder why BHO has ignored those jobs in this jobless recovery?

WHat about those jobs? Bush created around 3 million jobs in 8 years. Obama has already surpassed that number (during the worst economy in our lifetimes). So, what exactly is your point?

Well, It's pretty obvious that when you cut taxes people will have more money to spend, hence they will spend it creating more movement of money hence more taxation on the movement of that money, hence more generated revenue...

Obviously with all that movement of currency jobs will be created...

Of course when people are being taxed to death they will spend less money hence less taxation, hence less revenue....

When you take money directly from an individual that money isn't being spent in the free market.... No it goes to the government, and when it comes to government it costs a dollar to spend a dollar... 90% of what we pay to the government just falls into a singularity...

Theoretically, taxation and government spending actually destroys the value of the dollar because it costs money to spend money....

And why the liberals cannot understand something that simple is beyond me
The poor and those who cannot hep them selves where well taken care of in 2007. We came really close to a balanced budget that year
in 09 spending was up 700 billion from 07
1 trillion up from 07 in 2010

That is an increase of 63% from 2007 if you add those 2 years
what did it do for us? that is the real issue going into 2012

If the federal government just put a 1% tax on all transactions they would generate more revenue than they do taxing income.

There are several theoretical problems with that idea tho...

My third biggest disappointment with W was he did not do that to fund the wars
1% would have done it
Just take the GDP and basically us it as a multiplier

The country would have 0 issue with it, well most would not have

yeah... a 2% increase in tax revenue for a couple years and jobs at Walmart are worth crashing ther economy , the loss of millions of good jobs and 16 trillion dollar national debt.

Well I think one of the biggest problems is that taxing currency beyond its value will create massive economic problems...

If I have a 20 dollar bill - it has to have been spent thousands of times if not tens of thousands of times.

Well if that 20 was spent 1000 times on products at 6% that 20 dollar bill has been taxed to the tune of $120.00 - but it is only a 20 dollar bill, and is only worth 20 bucks..

After the Bush administration tax cuts, there were 52 months of continuous job creation and economic expansion.
Yes at the lowest rate since the 1930's

52 months of job creation and expansion is the largest such period in American history
Yet unemployment never got down to the same level it was Before Bush became president; yet income and wealth decline for 90% of Americans. And the growth that occurred in those 52 months was from the housing bubble

A belief that government is entitled to an income is one of the greatest fallacies perpetrated on the citizens since the ratification of the 16th Amendment. Today, it is often asked, "How can we pay for these tax cuts?". In fact, tax cuts do not need to be paid for simply because the government is required to live within its means. This, simply stated, means that if taxes are lowered, then government MUST cut spending to match the reduced income; unless the lowered taxes bring more tax receipts to the treasury.

An increase in tax revenues from increased business activity offsets and cancels any perceived losses that could have been collected from the tax cuts.

Additionally, deficits are caused by spending beyond the means of income.. Borrowing to finance budgets beyond the income level accrued is a multiplier to debt, thereby causing it to increase in a compounded manner.

Borrowing was necessary to save the country from a deflationary spiral.

The stimulus worked.
There is no proof that the stimulus worked, only speculation. The country would have recovered without the borrowing, and likely sooner than it has to date.

I see so according to you the economy having 4million less jobs and being 6% less would mean the economy would be better off you are :cuckoo:

But we have lost millions of jobs and the national debt will be at 16 billion very soon
Wall Mart jobs?
10,000s of people would take a 30k a year with benies
600 a week is a place today that is not much, but it is better than nothing and with this economy that is about were we are

It was amazing to me the UAW was getting over 100K a year with Benies, closer to 150k and we threw 50 billion at that one

Furthermore the stimulus act created 4 million jobs.
The small business lending/tax credits of 2010 created another 1-2million jobs.
Also Obama EPA decisions have created another several million jobs.
Perhaps if math was a skill you could do you'd be better informed

You've been told what that spending increase has gotten us half a dozen times. The problem is that you are illiterate

2007 we spent 2.7 trillion
2010 we spent 3.7 trillion
we had 137.6 million with a job in 2007
we had 129 in 2010

from 03 to 08 we created 7 million jobs
from 09 to the present we lost about the same with the "available work force number" plummeting

And some-how discussing that with some makes you "R"

ZZZ people have caught on, even the liberals see you have no class bud, it will follow you through life if you do not stop it

You can dispute so much about how we got where we are in this country
you can debate it
You can spin it
You can lie about it

But when you make it personal, it then has nothing to do with the facts, the debate, the spin nor the lies ZZZ

It is the same in life
