THANKS AL !

Tate, who is now 18, was tried and convicted as an adult for first-degree murder in the 1999 killing of 6-year-old Tiffany Eunick. He was 12 when she died and 14 when he was sentenced to life in prison, a mandatory punishment for a first-degree murder conviction in Florida.

In December 2003, an appeals court granted him a new trial, ruling that he should have been evaluated to determine if he was competent to understand the legal proceedings against him.

He then pleaded guilty to a second-degree murder charge and was put on probation.

Tate was arrested last September for violating his house arrest. He was sentenced to an extra five years of probation and told at the time that he could go back to prison if he got into any further trouble.

In his latest brush with the law, Tate faces charges of armed burglary with battery, armed robbery and probation violation.

Police said he forced his way into the Pembroke Park, Florida, home of a 12-year-old friend and repeatedly hit the boy, and then met a pizza delivery man at the door with a handgun.

B.E.T. moment? What the fuck is that supposed to mean?

James Patrick Bulger (16 March 1990[1] – 12 February 1993) was a boy from Kirkby, England, who was murdered on 12 February 1993, when aged two. He was abducted, tortured and murdered by two ten-year-old boys, Robert Thompson (born 23 August 1982) and Jon Venables (born 13 August 1982).[2][3] Bulger disappeared from the New Strand Shopping Centre in Bootle, near Liverpool, while accompanying his mother. His mutilated body was found on a railway line two-and-a-half miles away in Walton, two days after his murder. Thompson and Venables were charged on 20 February 1993 with Bulger's abduction and murder.

The pair were found guilty on 24 November 1993, making them the youngest convicted murderers in modern English history. They were sentenced to custody until they reached adulthood, initially until the age of 18, and were released on a lifelong licence in June 2001. The case has prompted widespread debate on the issue of how to handle young offenders when they are sentenced or released
