Guess who made these vile, racist, hate-filled comments opposing extending a generous hand to the migrants seeking a better life.....(Answers are below the questions):

1. “We are a generous and welcoming people here in the United States, but those who enter the country illegally and those who employ them disrespect the rule of law and they are showing disregard for those who are following the law.”

2. "First, illegal immigration is wrong ... and a primary goal of comprehensive immigration reform must be to dramatically curtail future illegal immigration."

3. “We simply cannot allow people to pour into the United States undetected, undocumented, unchecked, and circumventing the line of people who are waiting patiently, diligently and lawfully to become immigrants into this country.”

4. 'The people who should be here are those who come legally at this time.’ And we've got to, for the time being, enforce our borders.”

5. “All Americans, not only in the States most heavily affected but in every place in this country, are rightly disturbed by the large numbers of illegal aliens entering our country. “The jobs they hold might otherwise be held by citizens or legal immigrants. The public service they use impose burdens on our taxpayers."

6. “The American people are fundamentally pro-legal immigration and anti-illegal immigration. We will only pass comprehensive reform when we recognize this fundamental concept.”

7. "Real reform means strong border security, and we can build on the progress my administration has already made -- putting more boots on the Southern border than at any time in our history and reducing illegal crossings to their lowest levels in 40 years”

8. "We are a nation of immigrants. But we are also a nation of laws. It is wrong and ultimately self-defeating for a nation of immigrants to permit the kind of abuse of our immigration laws we have seen in recent years, and we must do more to stop it”

9. “Real reform means establishing a responsible pathway to earned citizenship -- a path that includes passing a background check, paying taxes and a meaningful penalty, learning English, and going to the back of the line behind the folks trying to come here legally,”

10. “We certainly do not want any more (Illegal Immigrants) coming in.”

Too bad the Dems in Congress don't follow those little factoids.

Any time immigration comes on the floor, they won't do anything and obstruct what others are trying to do.

Wow, you just made a great case that democratic leaders do support border security not open borders, legal immigration not illegal, law and order, and accountability not a free pass like the right wing loves to assert.

Nice work!

Haha...is that really how a warped mind interprets his post?
I saw the case made that Democrats, once upon a time atleast SAID they believed in U.S. sovereignty.

As usually with propagandist they neglect the full context.

Obama then laid out the three basic principles of his preferred approach to immigration reform: enhanced border security and enforcement, a guest worker program and electronic verification capabilities for employers, and an “interim legal status” for the millions of undocumented immigrants living in the United States whereby those who entered the country illegally would pay a “hefty fine” and “go to the back of the line” before applying for U.S. citizenship.

I think our campaign system and party system limits our leaders to a state of paralyzed group think where they need to do and say what will get them funding and re-elected. Therefore we can’t have an honest exploration and compromise of ideas. Then there are the fringe activists, like yourself, who won’t compromise on anything so you resort to deamonizing the enemy in this all or nothing war to nowhere.

Problem is you regressive swine are not honest, ever.

Just about everyone I have heard talk about or who continues to talk about this problem says 'we need a real solution' / 'we need laws' / etc.....

Umm...The United States Government has both existing Immigration Laws and an existing Immigration System that works - we have several million legally nationalized immigrants who lawfully complied with the system and obtained citizenship. IT WORKS!

The problem with is that we do not have elected officials with enough integrity, courage, discipline, and respect for our Constitution and Rule of Law to enforce the Constitution, Existing Immigration Laws, and the existing system! PERIOD, DOT!

These criminals do not respect the United States, do not respect the Rule of Law or our Constitution, do not respect our system for legally becoming a system - they want what they want and they want it NOW!
- We have laws and a system: Illegals blow them off.
- The UN gave them an opportunity to apply for Asylum: The Illegals blew off the UN.
** They prefer to illegally crash the border.

The problem we have is similar to Obama's approach to DOMA - we had a law, he personally didn't like it, so he publicly declared he would not enforce it.

The problem we have is the exact same problem with Sanctuary Cities under Obama - Sanctuary Cities are a direct violation of Federal Immigration law; however, despite being illegal, Obama's own personal ideology superseded US law, and he supported (aided and abetted) these criminals and their Sanctuary Cities.

The PROBLEM is a CHOICE not to enforce existing US Immigration Law and to support the continuous criminal violations of our Constitution and Rule of law?

If you do not support current law YOU STILL HAVE TO COMPLY / ENFORCE IT UNTIL THAT LAW / THOSE LAWS ARE LEGALLY CHANGED!

ENFORCE THE F*ING EXISTING US IMMIGRATION LAW AND THE CONSTITUTION ALREADY!

The issue can’t and shouldn’t be trivialized, it’s not one complex in nature.
You people always work that “it’s not that simple” angle because really, at the end of the day you seek no change or solution.
Watch how simple this is....The people voted laws to the books, now elected politicians enforce the fucking laws they promised to enforce under oath. TA-DA! See how easy that was?

I think our campaign system and party system limits our leaders to a state of paralyzed group think where they need to do and say what will get them funding and re-elected.

....until Trump proved with enough Americans recognizing this and abandoning both parties an outsider who shakes everything up and affects real change can be elected.

There should be NO compromise in the enforcement of existing law.

Wow, you just made a great case that democratic leaders do support border security not open borders, legal immigration not illegal, law and order, and accountability not a free pass like the right wing loves to assert.

Nice work!

then what's the issue?

The topic starter is a copy and paste parrot. He does not have a single original thought in his head. Ever.

But let's keep playing the "Guess Who Said It" game!

Guess who said it: "The electoral college is a disaster for a democracy."

Guess who said it: "I'm going to be too busy working for you to go golf."

Guess who said it: "You are going to have such great health care at a tiny fraction of the cost. And it will be so easy!"

Guess who said it: "I'm very pro-choice...It may be a little bit of a New York background...I am strongly for choice...I am pro-choice in every respect."

Guess who said it: "“I’ve known [Hillary] and her husband for years, and I really like them both a lot!”

I doubt it since the Dems don't want to do anything in Congress about immigration.

Every time it comes up they don't want anything to do with it.

Nice work indeed.

Actually I just exposed them as hypocrites / flip-floppers, as their voiced opinions and actions have taken a complete 180 degree change since making these original comments.

Nice attempted SPIN.
