Greedy UAW about to cost consumers 1k per vehicle more despite prices already being ridiculously high.

My girlfriend at the time's Mom had a '89 Galant that was also a great car.
The Precis was some joint venture by Mitsubishi and Hyundai, everyone thought it was a Hyundai but it was badged as a Mitsubishi for some reason, I guess cause they were bigger at the time, but not anymore. Mine was a hatchback with a manual transmission. Great car, one of the best I ever owned.

Mitsubishi Precis Overview

The Precis was sold in the U.S. market from 1987 to 1994. As a rebadged Hyundai Excel, the Precis was based on the same platform as the Excel. It was Hyundai's first model to be introduced in the U.S. market. The Precis was available in both 3-door hatchback and 4-door sedan configurations.

Trucks are already 10 to 30k more now than just a few years ago as some models surpass 100k on the price tag. Now thanks to the greed of the unions an already inflated truck is going to cost you an additional 1k.
Much like housing, vehicles are slowly getting out of reach for young people. What was once a reasonable expectation is now an unobtainable dream for many. Compound that with Obama's asinine cash for clunkers program which removed 10's of thousands of used cars from the market and now even used cars are insanely priced.

Democrats and unions are ensuring that a once everyday item & near necessity to life becomes a luxury item.
Yup. Americans are so stupid. They believe by supporting the UAW they will be sticking it to the one percenter car companies when the truth is the UAW will be sticking it to all Americans buying cars, new and used.

I thought they were asking a lot but then I ran into an old friend. She has worked for GM since 1979. She told me that in 2008 they took a wage cut with promises of raises as soon as profits turned.

GM was making huge profits and the CEO and those who are simply overhead all got raises but those on the line actually making the cars have not had a raise since 2008.

It's time GM made up for that.

:clap2:
