So you thought US political rhetoric was bad. Wait til you see this.
But first, I must preface with some background. As most of you know, the Greek conservative government overspent like a drunken sailor, and then when the socialist government took over in 2009, they opened their books to the world and now everyone is familiar with the words "euro crisis".
The contagion is spreading now to Spain and Italy.
Anyway, Greeks are notorious tax evaders. They are also notorious government tit suckers, with about 600 categories of jobs which qualify for retirement at age 50.
Well, the Greek government recently decided the best way to collect money from all the tax evaders was to include their taxes in their electric bill.
The electric company then started shutting off people's power for non-payment of their bill.
The court system then ruled the electric company cannot take away this life necessity for non-payment.
Upon hearing this, Greek people everywhere, not just the tax dodgers, decided to stop paying their electric bills.
Free electricity for all!
The electric company then ran out of money, of course, and had to be rescued by the Greek government with a cash infusion.
The same Greek government which is the cause of all this.
A snake swallowing its tail.
Greece just had another election and it was a shambles. There isn't enough agreement between all the parties to form a coalition and so another election is going to be held next week.
Times like these bring out the extremists, because people listen to them during extreme times. So right now in Greece the commies and the nazis are fighting for control.
And that led to this exchange on a Greek TV program.
The nazi guy gets pissed at a little socialist lady and throws a glass of water in her face. The commie lady to his left then whacks him with a folder. He retaliates by a full frontal attack on her face.
Now THIS is what a right-wing war on women REALLY looks like!
