Recall that in 1972, the Media HATED Nixon, and did everything they could to slander, ridicule, denigrate, and defeat him. And he won...bigtime.

Where does the parallel come in? There has never been as much hatred directed at the President and the Republican party in the history of our great Nation but Trump rises above it. People are smarter and better informed than they were before the internet and when Cronkite pretty much dominated the media while the democrat party and the media still pretends it's deja vu all over again.

Trump is paying for the big mistake Nixon made. Nixon never should have resigned. He did nothing wrong. Democrats who remember the coup that ousted Nixon hope they can use the same game plan to push Trump out of the White House.

The parallel is obvious. The Media hated Nixon; reported every development in the light most unfavorable to him, lied about him, constant slanders

But when confronted with a choice between Nixon and an aspiring socialist, the public chose sanity.

Now here we are 48 years later, and the public is, if you will pardon the unfortunate word choice, even stupider than then, so the outcome will be in doubt.
