As I get older the idea of hanging around the Pit for 18 or 20 hours has become less desirable we'll say.
I've heard good things about pellet smokers and in particular the Fast Eddie.

Anyone with any experience with pellet smokers?

What in the fuck? You know what goes into smokers? Wood, that's what.

Oak is good, Maple, Cherry, Hickory, Mesquite, Citrus.

If ya wanted to cut pieces of oak or hickory into the proper size it'd work just fine.

WTF is terlit paper and how can it save me money on my glass eye?

I'd say around double the size of your pinky nail.
It feeds the pellets into a burn box continuously and holds temp to within a few degrees the entire cook.

The thing about this unite is you can cold smoke cheese,fish,garlic and a shit load of other delicacies.

You can sear steaks,bake cookies or a cake ..this thing will do everything.

I guess I should give ya some background.
I cooked on a BBQ cook off team for several years
.
My BBQ experience goes back over thirty years.
I have the Pitts And Spitts that G. Bush and a shit load of other famous people use.

This one ran me $2800.
