Republicans, especially far right wingers who hate govt employees at any cost, I have a question for you. You all preach small govt, less taxes, less spending, blah blah blah. You all say "fuck off" (literally) to cops, firemen, teachers. You pretend to hold a moral high ground, and despite demanding less govt, will then demand laws to ban many things. Included are:

    - Banning marijuana
    - Banning gay marriage
    - Banning abortion
    - Banning poker and gambling (although they'll have state-sponsored lottery, go figure)
    - Banning pornography

I could go on and on.

But GOP'ers, who is gonna enforce all your moral laws? The cops? You all have spent 2 years slashing their funding, staffing, pay, benefits, equipment. They are already stretched to the limit.

Will you enlist the military to help the understaffed cops to enforce your laws? OH NO, that would be martial law, and suggesting that makes you an Obama loving commie.

So, how can you preach about less taxes, less spending, smaller government......while also suggesting moral laws taht ban things like mentioned above? Especially since 4 out of those 5 (abortion excluded) causes no physical harm to anyone. Why would you freedom loving, small govt loving Republicans want laws that ban harmless things like weed, porn, poker and gay marriage?

Because you:eusa_shhh: far right wingers are fucking hypocrites, and have shown it since 2010.

Republican's don't know how to own their own problems, they make it everyone else's problem with the money they have. See they buy there way out of doing that. And are comfortable with that, and the rest of the nation just suffers from their inability to see reality and live in it.

There is a reason the south has a baptist church and a nasty ass strip club on every corner.

I just don't believe the law should be charged for gay marriage as it isn't a marriage. A real marriage is presided over by god. Not GOVERNMENT. It will be god that judges you.

marijuana should be legalized....It is stupid to give all this money to the drug cartels!
Gambling should be legalized on the internet....What's it to government?
Porn should remain legal....What's it to government? If you love to watch porn and smoke marijuana that's fine by me!
Abortion....Well, the babies a living thing right? Well, only if the mother's health is at risk, but outside of that what kind of a society do we wish to be? Says a lot about the person. Shouldn't be a federal issue at all, but one between the doctor and women.

Yes, the gay marriage thing wouldn't necessarily be a law that can be violated. Why? Because it isn't a legal marriage without a government-issued marriage license.

Which leads me to.....Republicans, should the govt be in the business of giving marriage licenses? Aren't we supposed to keep state and religion away from each other? If a church wants to marry gays, and we have freedom of religion, why can the evil gubermint step in and require that act to have the approval of a government license?

And "Matthew", the reason the right wing loves to ban gambling..is because then their govt can sponsor an "Educational Lottery" and rake in big bucks. Thats not a joke, in SC, we have the "Education Lottery" scratch off tickets. Sends millions to the evil government, and right wingers here love it. Oddly, SC's public education remains in the dumbs amongst the 5 worst states in the nation for education (I'm sure treating our teachers like they are 10 year old dirty mops doesn't help)

Hard core porn is not legal. The Supreme ruled on that years ago. It's just the laws are not enforced.

If communities collapse around the USA, they will begin that collapse in places where the wealthy do not live.

They'll have private cops, working to protect them so they honestly aren't too worried about what happens on MAIN STREET America.

I mean could this be any more obvious?

Affluent communities have effective well funded police forces.

    Slums don't.

That propensity will simply get worse.
