Goofball California Governor Endangers Schoolkids

Yeah let's encourage guns at schools
Of course. Not only in schools, but other places that goofball Obama liberals have turned into idiotic, dangerous gun-free zones. (ex. VA Hospitals - prime targets for terrorists)
Yes, let's get rid of no gun zones, that increase punishment against those who use guns illegally in those zones
I'm sure they aren't worried about breaking the no gun some rule. When the are committing murder. Sheesh.

Easy answer. Keep guns away from people who shouldn't have them like most of the country wants.
Most mass shootings are done by liberals.

Two Republican senators introduced legislation to do just that (Coryn & Grassley). Democrats blocked them.

Most mass shootings are done by liberals.
Or Muslim jihadists, whom liberals (like Obama & Hillary) support.
Yep, like this one.

like protectionist.....
I have one - with a CCW license. Former US Army. Former New York Army National Guard. Former armed security officer.
And ready to shoot any terrorist unlucky enough to try terrorism in my vicinity.

:salute::Boom2::alirulz:
yea so what.....doesnt mean shit.....there was a guy out here a few years ago who was carrying, former military, off duty cop....he was shot and killed during a robbery in a 7/11 he happened to be in.....turns out the robber was also ex military marine with combat experience.....lots of bad guys know how to use guns too.....

I say we sell CA to Mexico for $20T. Republicans would win every single presidential election and we wipe out the national debt. and i move to Vegas.

It never seems to stop - liberal fools doing exactly the opposite of what is needed to stop terrorists and other criminals. Sane and intelligent people know that police generally, are not defenders. They are responders. And during the first, critical 5 minutes of an attack, citizens are own their own.

The best protection we have in those first 5 minutes, is good guys (vetted & licensed), with guns. So what does California's mindless governor do ? He eliminates this critical protection by banning guns in schools. This moronic act is equivalent to giving bad guys a green light to come into schools and raise hell.

Any reducton of armed security is simply a step in the direction of greater possibility of criminal activity in the schools. Liberal governors >> the criminal's best friend.

Another reason for Californians to leave that sorry, forlorn state. Sheeesh!

hahahahahahahahahahahahaha

how about we keep guns OUT of the hands of people who shouldn't have them?

We already have laws for that...it is against the law for felons to buy, own or carry a gun. When we catch a felon with a gun, we can put them in jai. Then, when they are in jail, people like you let them back out, and then they kill people.....the problem in this chain of events....letting them back out......that is the problem, not John and Jane Q. citizen carrying guns for self defense. Yet it is Mr. and Mrs. law abiding citizen that seems to give you the most heartburn....

Notice which political party is reducing the sentences for repeat gun offenders? They are the problem, the democrats...

California Democrats hate the gun, not the gunman – Orange County Register

Now that Democrats have supermajorities in the California state Legislature, they’ve rolled into Sacramento with a zest for lowering the state’s prison population and have interpreted St. Augustine’s words of wisdom to mean, “Hate the gun, not the gunman.”

I say this because, once they finally took a break from preaching about the benefits of stricter gun control, the state Senate voted to loosen sentencing guidelines for criminals convicted of gun crimes.

Currently, California law requires anyone who uses a gun while committing a felony to have their sentence increased by 10 years or more in prison — on top of the normal criminal penalty. If enacted, Senate Bill 620 would eliminate that mandate.

The bill, which passed on a 22-14 party-line vote, with support only from Democrats, now heads to the state Assembly for consideration.

Republicans and the National Rifle Association have vowed to campaign against it.

Why have Democrats suddenly developed a soft spot for criminals convicted of gun crimes? The bill’s author, state Sen. Steve Bradford, D-Gardena, says that he was motivated to write the bill after a 17-year-old riding in a car involved in a drive-by shooting was sentenced to 25 years in prison, even though he claims that he wasn’t the one who pulled the trigger.

and for all those anti-gunners who want to know where criminals get guns....well...this law lowers the prison time for those who give guns to criminals.....

Why is that?

Prop. 57, for example, very deceptively and fundamentally changed the definition of what constitutes a “non-violent” offense.

Letting dangerous criminals go free is the heart of the problem.

Nothing about how the Second Amendment was written allows even for denying the right which it affirms to those who have been convicted of crimes, and have completed their sentences. But when it was written, it was assumed that anyone who displayed enough criminality not to be trusted with this right would never be allowed to go free again. Such criminals usually served their sentences at the end of a rope, after which it would be rendered moot what rights, if any, they still retained. If the very worst mass-murderer wanted his guns to be buried with him in his grave, I'd be OK with that; though somewhat disappointed at the loss of valuable property which might still be useful to the living.

That doesn't refute my post one iota. So what if one incident that you describe went bad ? In lots of others, a good guy (or a few of them) with a gun, would have saved many lives (ex. Fort Hood, Pulse Club, San Bernardino, Paris concert, etc)

In many incidents, a good guy with a gun DID save lives.

One example - the LAX shooting (July 4, 2002) Ahmed Mohammed Hadayet was shot dead, after he killed 2 people. The airport was crowded with people, and Hadayet had 2 pistols and 200 rounds of ammunition. Without the armed, good guy, it would have been a bloodbath.

Democrats see criminals as yet another source of VOTES. They live and die by the vote count, and to them, ANYBODY is acceptable who can cast a vote for them.

I'm for just about anything that would get rid of California. Maybe a really big earthquake will cut it off, and it will drift off into the ocean. Just dreaming.

Gun-Free School Zones Act of 1990 - Wikipedia

Gun-Free School Zones has been Federal Law since 1990 and was signed into law by George H.W. Bush.

So do you have a link to what you are writing about?

South Dakota on Friday became what's "believed to be the first state to pass a law that specifically allows teachers to carry firearms," as The New York Times writes.

Gov. Dennis Daugaard (R) signed the "school sentinels" bill that gives districts the right to "create, establish, and supervise the arming of school employees, hired security personnel, or volunteers." In some other states, less specific provisions in current laws could give school employees the right to carry arms. As NBC News has reported, 18 states "allow adults to have a loaded gun on school grounds, usually as long as they have written permission."

Cool! Eventually this will be nationwide, despite efforts of liberal idiots trying to stop it. Hopefully, not too many more people will die in the interim.

A big earthquake and california sinks into the ocean. Then all your problems will be over, right?

agreed it should be a national thing

there never ever should have been gun free zone on school grounds

just does not make any sense to leave our children so vulnerable
