It is an old song, but I like the lyrics very much.
I'll try to translate it, you'll see it has a very nice text.

An admirer (Song title)
[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bp3nUh9K1vA[/ame]

Worth a whole life a moment with you.
On all ways you passed, I spread out my heart, occasionally return.
Victim of your eyes, admirer of your words.
A look into your eyes and this heart melts away.

An admirer of your eyebrows and eyes, Gosh!
I comply with your stress and your problems, Amen.
I've been hit by all your length and your poses, I attest to God.

Sometimes come to us, i don't have any bad intentions,
Let my tarnished heart elevate to cloud nine with a couple of sweet sayings from you

aaaaah, by begging and crying this heart melts away.
I am in looooooove,
I told you my feelings, dear God also care a little bit for me.
In looooove, melting awaaaaay
I told you my feelings, dear God also care a little bit for me.
melting awaaaaaaay,
I admire.

In orginal language it is much better, the writer has put a real effort to make a poem. In English the function of rhymes becomes obsolete through translation, also some exact meaning of words had to be taken with generalized ones.
For example Gosh! and so on.

I have been forgotten, I have been forgotten
like a dried rose,
moss has come to my walls,
everyday the same.

Nights don't end, days don't end,
this loneliness never ends,
neither my quarrels nor my love has ended,
life ends, the joy of heart never.

Every breakup is a robbery, all my lovers don't touch my treasures,
every season my leafs fall of, then they open again.
My hopes will get crushed,
afterwards the sea (joy for life) will storm again a thousand times.
A thousand times.

Love the lyrics, hate the delivery

Remember you are mortal - remember you will die
Within this moment of truth you must prove yourself divine...
And when salvation comes, the water always rises
The devil hides his face and smiles in his disguises

[Chorus:]
No mercy, pity or love
All pray in their distress and in our garden of delight there is no forgiveness!
No mercy, pity or love -
Your hero she will burn!
Time flies among the roses infected by the worm!

O kind and most sweet jesus - day of the dead has passed...
They question our existence - for nothing ever lasts...
Irreverent with regret, there is a howling storm
The angel fell from grace and now her halo's filled with thorns...

[Chorus]

Ore para nosotros! ore para nosotros!
All my precious wounds will leak -
From this prophecy I speak...
Pierce my arms and my feet -
Cast myself down on my knees!
Through repentance she is saved from her sins and hate within...
Momemto mori!
Hope and sentiments of faith...
Beneviolent and safe - memento mori!
Ore para nosotros... ore para nosotros!

Mr. President, Distinguished delegates...

[H.I.M. Haile Selassie I dialect]

[Bunny Wailer dialogue]
Since the beginning of modern civilization
Generations have witnessed and inherited the only conflicts of world wars
But behold the marriage supper of the lamb and the bridegroom onto his bride
Then shall the earth's children know the true expression of ONE LOVE
Then mother earth shall honeymoon in peace.
Forever eliminating the aspirations, lust and anguish of wars and rumors of wars...SELAH!

[Verse 1]

[Marcus Garvey dialogue 2]
If you cannot do it, if you are not prepared to do it...then you will die.
You race of cowards, you race of imbosiles, you race of good for nothings
If you cannot do what other men have done
What other nations have done, what other races have done
Then you yourself shall die.

[Repeat Verse 1]

[Verse 3]
SEE IT DEH NOW...Hey!
Now wi fore parents sacrifice enough
Dem blood sweat and tears run like syrup
Any day a revolution might erupt, and the skys over Kingston lighting up
For the new generation rising up, of youths now a days weh dem sighting up
And through reasoning dem biding up,
Searching for the sign and the sign is us,
Searching for the truth all you find is us,
Searching for the troops still behind is us,
The almighty we recruit and we come from the root
We build like roach building boot
Weh just can't done, Rastafari we design tuff
If a the fight for freedom sign me up
Cause you Tell-Lie-Vision can't blind me up
Soldiers and police dem wising up, realizing they're no more right than us
Realizing there's no use fighting us
Realizing their opening their eyes to see the same demoralizing life as us
So we nah tek talk nor smiling up
Cause the word temper tantrum boiling up,and who...
Calling the shots and nah bust none
Controlling the mind of the young, bring down...

Bear famine, no rain nah fall from London to Dadeland mall
All the son of the virgin bawl, institute of the church IN WAR
Preaching and researching WAR
Practice and rehearsing WAR
Teaching and dem learning WAR
Instigating and urging WAR
Always keep alert in WAR
Cause man will jump out a swerving car
Now bees and birds IN WAR
And the freaks and nerds IN WAR
And the straight and curves IN WAR

Intro
(Bunny Wailer)
Hear this
Three monkeys sitting under a coconut tree (really?)
Discussing things as they are said to be
Said one to the others, now listen you two
There's a strange rumor that can't be true
They say man was ascended from our noble race
But the very idea is a big disgrace
No monkey ever deserted his wife
Or her baby, to ruin their lives
Yeah
The monkeys drift is mine (that's right)

Chorus
(Damian Marley)
Well educated fools they have ruined di world
And start make it hard for both di boys and di girls
Dem steal all di Africans diamonds and pearls
And start bank it up inna federal reserves
And then Rasta fuck it up and insight riot
Warn dem fi cool and we did warn dem fi quiet
Now dem hear the kick drum di snare and di hi hat

Hey don't fuck yourself next time you read out di budget
Di government case, ah poor people a judge it

Bun dem skeletons weh lock up inna closet

Verse
(Treach)
Well I heard that man came from sands and other molecules
Way before bodies and barbecues
With a good side a bad side and still argue too
Before schemin and thievin and dreamin of gleamin and feenin
Even before Adam and Eve and even
Before it was about being the nicest or whose diamonds that are priceless
B.C. around Tutankhamun and Isis
On the continent of Africa
Pass out and tribes to create a character sold us shit
On earth was magical
Then the strangers came from the boat with the ropes
Chains that felt strange, they called it the slave game
The game changed
They had shackled like assholes
The Bloodclaat
So now a days the way prevent it is a thugs glock
Seen them rape and kill our children and women, the villain
The bill gon sort the black man how to kill men
Let's keep it real man
You can't harm me or scar me
Respect for me
History's priority with the Marleys

Anam (my mother) [song title]

If there's weeping,
it will be my mother weeping behind me,
from the skies will rain laments.

Friend-faced people of lies are on my door step,
loneliness, in its purest form.

Cheeks smelling like rose,
lips giving me hope.
Nothing equals the warmth of my mother.
Mother, mother... Wonderful mother.
Whom I shall share my problems with... you have gone.
World is a lie, strangers are terrible.

Anem, Anem (my mother, my mother)

These nights far far away,
they will become cold.
The problems of a lonely heart...
Only someone with same problems will understand.

My mother, my mother, such days I have seen.
My mother, my mother, such problems I have endured.
My mother, my mother.
I am lonely, in pain.
My mother, my mother.

I am freezing, who will hug me?
I yearn for love, who will love me?
I am in search, where are you?
My mother, my mother.

I came back for you

I don't recognize this
place I called home
Paintings conceal cracks
that could not heal

All my life I heard your voice
Why did I wait so long...

I came back for you

I don't recognize this
place I called home
Windows replaced
Scars on that same face

All my life I heard your voice
Why did I wait so long...

Lock the empty room
Leave the key inside
Turn and walk away
Leave it all behind

Purge the fear of your own design
I will help you to mend a broken line

For those of us old enough to have experienced this stuff first hand, enjoy a bit of those radical sixties. Even music then had a bit of the real.

LYRICS - Alice's Restaurant

".... And we was fined $50 and had to pick up the garbage in the snow, but thats not
what I came to tell you about.

Came to talk about the draft.

They got a building down New York City, it's called Whitehall Street,
where you walk in, you get injected, inspected, detected, infected,
neglected and selected. I went down to get my physical examination one
day, and I walked in, I sat down, got good and drunk the night before, so
I looked and felt my best when I went in that morning. `Cause I wanted to
look like the all-American kid from New York City, man I wanted, I wanted
to feel like the all-, I wanted to be the all American kid from New York,
and I walked in, sat down, I was hung down, brung down, hung up, and all
kinds o' mean nasty ugly things. And I waked in and sat down and they gave
me a piece of paper, said, "Kid, see the phsychiatrist, room 604."

And I went up there, I said, "Shrink, I want to kill. I mean, I wanna, I
wanna kill. Kill. I wanna, I wanna see, I wanna see blood and gore and
guts and veins in my teeth. Eat dead burnt bodies. I mean kill, Kill,
KILL, KILL." And I started jumpin up and down yelling, "KILL, KILL," and
he started jumpin up and down with me and we was both jumping up and down
yelling, "KILL, KILL." And the sargent came over, pinned a medal on me,
sent me down the hall, said, "You're our boy."

Didn't feel too good about it."

Many's the hour I've lain by my window

and thought of the people who carried the burden
C Am
Who marched in the strange fields in search of an answers
C Am G
And ended their journeys an unwilling hero

Here's a song to those who are gone with never a reason why
Em Am
And a toast of the wine at the end of the line
D7 G
And a toll of the bell for the next one to die

Back in the coal fields of old Harlan county
Some talked of the union, some talked of good wages
And they lined them up in the dark of the forests
And shot them down without asking no questions

Here's a song to those who are gone with never a reason why
And a toast of the wine to the end of the line
And a toll of the bell for the next one to die

And over the ocean, to the red Spanish soil
came the lincoln brigade with their dreams
But they fell in the fire of germany's bombing
And they fell 'cause no one would hear their sad warning

Here's a song to those who are gone with never a reason why
And a toast of the wine at the end of the line
And a toll of the bell for the next one to die

In old Alabama, in old Mississippi
Two states of the union so often found guilty
They came on the busses, they came on the marches
And they lay in the jails or they fell by the highway

Here's a song to those who are gone with never a reason why
And a toast of the wine at the end of the line
And a toll of the bell for the next one to die

The state it was texas, the town it was Dallas
In the flash of a rifle a life was soon over
And nobody thought of the past million murders
And the long list of irony(?) had found a new champion

Here's a song to those who are gone with never a reason why
And a toast of the wine at the end of the line
And a toll of the bell for the next one to die
