OK, we hear a lot of flap-yap about it not having warmed in the last 16 years. So what is the truth of the matter?

If Obama believed in Global Warming then he would have signed the DOHA agreement.

But he didn't.

Now why don't you tell that to the Arctic Sea Ice. Then to the alpine glaciers. And finish with Munich Re and Swiss Re.

Pathetic propaganda. Why the random selection of 16 years? Why not 32.7 ? or 10,000 years? Why not go back as far back as possible?

Because that destroys the "magic" of the religion.

PressTV - Sydney posts record heat as blazes threaten towns in Australia

Sydney’s temperature reached 45.8 degrees Celsius (114.4 degrees Fahrenheit) at 2:55 p.m. local time on Thursday, raising fears of a new escalation in raging wildfires.

“Quite simply, Sydney is melting today,” said Corey Watts, regional projects manager at the Climate Institute, on Thursday.

“This kind of weather cannot be taken lightly. These heat waves can have serious impacts on human health and wellbeing.”

Meanwhile, Australia’s emergency services warned that wildfires are threatening several towns in the state of Victoria, the nation’s populous southeast region.

Because you fruitloops have repeatedly stated the last 16 years has seen no warming.

However, the video did go back 130 years, using numbers and a graph from NASA.

And, in spite of what ignoramouses like you believe, scientists are using every method available to go back as far as possible in the Earth's history, not only for temperature, but for atmospheric composition, and all the geologic data that we can get.

And the things that they discover are available for all that are willing to take the time to search and listen.

I just got of the Phone with Arctic Ice he says Old Rocks like you been fraudin' since the Mesozoic Era when CO2 levels were AT LEAST 4-5 time present day levels.

And he would know.

Yeah? So? Australia is a damned desert over most of the continent. It gets hot and they have wildfires every year..and have since time immemorial. As far as the new "heat record" ya suppose the massive amount of urbaniszation might have an effect?

Nahhh, that would be too logical...and you guys don't do logic, or facts.

Let's play everyone's game of predetermined conclusions and altered data:

why just correct for ENSO? why not the PDO and AMO? personally I have a strong suspicion that it is probably incorrect to 'correct' for any of them except for volcanoes but here is a diagram showing the correlation for ocean current cycles

oh.... and Old Rocks, if the temps are not going up then by definition they are not warming. and it is especially not accelerating warming.

And if it is, ir it isnt...........so the fuck what????:2up:

Its a moot point either way in the bigger picture of things. If people want to sit around discussing for a whole day, a degree here or a degree there..........amen. Everybody wastes time on something in life........I just dont get the fascination?

Here is the thing that fascinates me though........that there are some people out there that can embrace fiscal policy that continues the collapse of the US dollar. The environmental people SCREAM "we have to do something or catastrophy will come!!!!!"

Really? And Im the moron??:D

More fascinating? They think public policy moving to embracing a total green economy can be payed for by the rich by taxing them!!!! Its fucking amazing:eek::ack-1:

skooks- we arent debating a degree ot two. we are debating a tenth of a degree here or there. not enough to trigger the tipping point in your thermostat.
