The democrats split a number of years ago into the Democrats and the Democrat Socialists. AOC is a democrat socialist that ran on the democratic ticket. Little by little the socialists have dragged Democrats further to socialism. The drift away from Americanism has been helped by the massive influence of legal and illegal immigrants. Many come from socialist countries and are comfortable. Many more just don't care what the political structure is. Their vote is for sale.

I can't think of a thing the Republican party has even proposed much less ordered that is in any way fascist while everything I listed that the Democrats are doing are components of fascism. Some states went overboard in their abortion laws but that isn't fascism. That is saving babies' lives. They eventually would have removed the unacceptable parts of those laws.
