We already knew how Brian Kemp rolls. In the 2018 midterms he did a last minute purge of half a million Georgians on the voter rolls. He posted a bogus accusation of DNC spying on the Secretary of States official website. The machines didn't work then either and just like yesterday, he cut the number of polling places in predominantly black precincts. He refused to recuse himself as S of S even though he was at the top of the ticket. Yesterday was even WORSE.
To make matters even worse, election crook Governor Kemp awarded a contract for 30,000 new voting machines to his buddies. Do you think that voter suppression in Georgia will be any better in November? It won't. It's the only way Republicans can win anymore. Sad
āItās a hot, flaming, f---ing mess,ā Nse Ufot, executive director of New Georgia Project, said in a text Tuesday. At multiple sites in Fulton County, new voting machines were down, some sites were waiting for technical support and others had difficulty logging into the machines, Ufot said.

Georgiaās primary quickly turned into an ordeal for voters who waited for hours Tuesday when it became clear officials were unprepared for an election on new voting computers during the coronavirus pandemic.
Poll workers couldnāt get voting machines to work. Precincts opened late. Social-distancing requirements created long lines. Some voters gave up and went home.

Before the contract was awarded, some voters speculated that the state would continue doing business with its current elections company, ES&S, which has close ties to Gov. Brian Kempās administration.
Dominion has connections, as well. One of Dominionās lobbyists, Jared Thomas, has worked on Kempās political campaigns since he first won a state Senate seat in 2002. He also worked previously for Kemp in the Secretary of Stateās Office. Another Dominion lobbyist, Barry Herron, was vice president of Diebold Election Systems, the company that originally sold Georgia its electronic voting machines in 2002.
