More black privilege. More affirmative action special treatment. More persecution of whites and asians. Why are white liberals such race traitors.? Do you ever see blacks attacking their own race?

Georgetown University to offer admissions advantage to slave descendants

sep1 2016Georgetown will offer an admissions edge to descendants of slaves as part of a comprehensive atonement for the university's historical ties to slavery, its president announced Thursday.

Those ties go back nearly two centuries, when the Washington, D.C., school sold 272 slaves and used the proceeds to pay off debt.

Georgetown President John J. DeGioia will offer a public apology Thursday afternoon for the 1838 sale and will also outline what the university plans to do to acknowledge racism in its past.

How are they gonna prove they are slave descendants?? Answer - they don't have to. Anyone who looks non-white will get this special treatment.

They already have affirmative actions, quotas and scholarships for minorities.

Start with local collages and leave the higher learning universities for those who can pass the entry exams, GPA scores, prerequisites, essays and interviews. We need more challenge not less.
Study hard and then apply for places like Georgetown when they can qualify.
Most high schools don't really prepare kids or University as it is. At least two years at a local collage makes better sense than more affirmative actions and loopholes.

I would rather a program that helps student write off half the cost of local college costs for two years or so before going to university instead.
You don't hand them a gold amex before they graduate with at least a bachelors.

If they can't excel in collage learning the prerequisites, why pay for university? 80% of students change majors within the first few years or drop out.

Why do we even have colleges? Tell the kid to get a book and teach himself.

What happened to letting private entities do what they want. Georgetown is a Jesuit school and they are offering scholarships to proven ancestors of those enslaved by Jesuits in Maryland.

You have a problem with this mea culpa.........................why? Envy?
