You were allowed to stay home and pretend to be a fighting man on COD. Now you wish to belittle the sacrifice THEY made with your political BS. Shame on you.

Who was belittling what our soldiers did? He was belittling Bush for an unnecessary war in Iraq. Our soldiers did what was asked of them, and far too many died or came home maimed because of what was asked of them.

If we want to compare Iraq and LIbya- which is what the OP originally did, then we can compare not only the cost to America(in dead and wounded, and in money that continues to pour into that decision) with the dead/wounded and monetary cost of our minimal intervention in Libya.

There was no peace or stability in Iraq after the Bush Crusade. What there was, was a "cooling off" period where Petraeus came in and began bribing the opposition while begging the Shiite government to be more inclusive. The bribes stopped and the Shiite government refused.

Then you are not in agreement that the Syrian rebels and the destablization of Libya has nothing to do with the refugee crisis? Really? Is that your position? Would it be the same if GWB was around. What is laughable is that after almost 8 years GWB will still bet blamed and the press will give an affirmative action pass to Obama.

Well actually- the revolution in LIbya- you do realize that there was a revolution before the United States ever supported the involvement of European forces there right?- is responsible for the refugees from Libya.

Would there be less refugees from Libya if the Civil War had continued and Qaddafi's forces slaughtered civilians? We don't know- George certainly doesn't know.

Syria has nothing to do with Libya- not certain why you think it does. Syria has much more to do with Iraq- and Iran. When the United States invaded and defeated Iraq, we removed Iran's chief rival in the Middle East- allowing Iran to provide more funding to the corrupt- and terrorist supporting government of Syria, and that funding led to the exodus of refugees from Syria.
