The main reason his mother is doing this is to reopen her sons case and get a trial. She thinks if the new prosecutor can not get her sons case open she can buy bing on the city council. I'm not sure that either postiion has the power to get the case reopened again. His mother is a high school drop out ,who just got her ged this past june. She graduated with her daughter. Though I do not know how much of an education you need to be on a city council. She is lucky if she dosen't start another riot and looting spree with all this.
