Hmmm..well, there was a solar powered community just outside of Ft Myers that weathered Hurricane Ian with no power outages and minimal damage.
If a reliable green energy along with sensible building codes can accomplish this, then I'd say those days are anything but numbered.
Supposedly they lost 1/3 of the solar panels, and I haven't heard how they are doing recently. They also had the main advantage of having their electrical underground and properly sealed. THAT was the bigger contributor.
Again, if charging still takes 2-3 hours minimum are you saying only people with a home should be able to own cars after 2035?
